Personally i thought the racing was better this year, and in my view there was more passing. The gates were more even, although the blue gate did win about 6 on the trot. However the lack of interaction with the crowd, and poor music was a disappointment. On Ceefax it quotes the attendance as 36,600. That's 6,000 down on last year.

Excellent. Good luck Chris. He averages 7.11 in the EL, so he should be on the pace, and maybe surprise a few.

Seeing we go to be entertained, then i think it should be the best two riders for the job. if Simon Stead does any better than two lasts i'd be surprised, after all he was beaten by the likes of Adrian Rymel and Paul Thorp in the last week. Stuart Robson isn't exactly old is he?? I know he's now injured but no-one even put him forward. Stonehewer would have brought the Workington following, and more of them, as he's still definitely their favourite rider.

Great riding by Lukas Dryml, i hope he wins a GP this year. Also a fine performance by Piotr Protasiewicz, his best GP yet.

Does anyone know the wildcards??

I can't really see Screen getting the ride. Last year he wsan't very good, and i believe he expressed his dislike for the man-made track so maybe he can't be bothered to do it as well. Now my wildcards would be Stuart Robson and David Howe.

Seeing it seems likely that Mark Loram will be missing then i think it's essential that two British riders get the wildcard places. I would select David Howe and Carl Stonehewer.

Seeing Mark looks to be out of speedway for some months yet, who is next in line for a GP call up?? Peter Karlsson?? David Howe??
