Absolutely did and also stated that his reason for putting the club up for sale were not financial but purely that he could not devote so much time to he club, especially with the commute between Redcar and Peterborough

Please..please someone tell us what the f... is going on. Another thrashing yesterday and another one coming up on Monday. Still no team changes...the worst performing captain in the league by a mile who should have been gone months ago. Yet K/L sign Lambert who would do better than Andersen anywhere at the moment. This is by far worse than the David Hawkins era.. FFS Management Talk to Us.
-
But 3hrs ago you said Basso or Worrall????!!!!
-
It may well be but it really needs to Andersen… the guy can hardly get round the bends at the Showground and shuts off an awful lot going into the bends. I suspect however it will be no changes but just the addition of Tarasenko for the foreseeable.
-
With the next meeting not until the end of June I can't see how having a No.1 would make any difference now. I know we have a handful of away meetings between now and then but a No.1 would make little difference. As usual all is quiet on the Eastern Front so I suspect the alluded addition of Tarasenko would be the only change to our lack lustre team.

Ah.. just what we all need..an Announcement about an Announcement -
Carl did not say that he’d put thousands of pounds into the club. He said that he’d put in thousands of hours work into the club over the years
-
We didn't start the fire..then who did?
-
Yep you are right.. but considering he only turned up in body and not mind last week that shouldn't be a problem
-
Nope ...the only person I am blaming in my post is Palm Toft for his gutless 'performance' last week.
-
Perhaps we should have Palm Toft guesting on Monday. I see he is currently 'in form' and does ride Belle Vue well. Personally I hope he never turns another wheel for the Panthers after the farce and pee taking performance last Monday.
-
Absolute Madness..any respect for the P/borough management ( if there is any left) would be gone along with hundreds of supporters!
-
We are not amused..
-
They did say at the end of last season that any new venue would be multi usage in conjunction / partnership with those users who have already been asked to leave the showground
-
Remember David Hawkins who bought the club from Martin Rogers. I'm sure that MT is more astute.
-
Especially every week...or nearly every week.

Tungate riding at No.1 would be a no-no for me. If I remember correctly he hardly won the first race at home last year and it wasn't until the latter stages of each meeting that he eventually got "dialled in". Still, in the absence of anyone else what do we do. We desparately need a proper No.1 who can go out and win that first race for us and is there or thereabouts in Heats 13 & 15.... Not a No 1 -

As the fixture lists are to be released tomorrow one would hope that Peterborough would be in a position to make a further team announcement. Presumably they have prior knowledge in any case which would have been discussed with any potentional 'superstar' as to suitability of dates etc. Personally I think that relying on and building the team around one rider is a bad thing. Especially when such rider is so busy that we need to wait so long to see whether he can 'fit us in'. What happens if said rider gets injured... no No.1 and use of R/R for half a season again. I know this can happen to any rider but 'eggs and basket' does come to mind. This whole team building affair should have been sorted ages ago! -
I’ve already written to Mr Sayfutdinov re the Panthers. Haven’t had a reply yet.. he must be either seriously considering it or Mr Putin confiscated the request

Still no team news at the Panthers... one can only assume that the ‘Management’ are finding it very difficult to muster a competitive team. I too am finding it difficult to muster much enthusiasm for the up coming season. To hear Colin Pratt state that he wants all meetings to be run in 90 minutes reminds me of a lady I used to know... pay your money.. wham, bam, thanks. Now I know that weekday meetings need to be run so that any kids that any watching can be in bed by 9:15. But my point is that their are few kids there anyway.. no entertainment.except loud disco music. No second half.. no value. No wonder our sport is in bother. -

When Buster took over the club he said that he couldn’t wait to sort the track out and improve the racing. In my many years of watching racing at the Showground I have always found the racing excellent and as far as I was concerned the track didn’t need sorting out. All Buster managed to achieve was to mess up the racing lines with the outside lines being non existent. But we kept hearing that the racing was good because it was fast and track records fell for the first few weeks. What a load of tosh... the racing was crap... gate and go. Although things did improve towards the end of the season when Buster was not playing on his tractor. just hope he stays off the tractor next season... that is if we manage to field a half decent team -
