Wow, that's a shock. Quite a bombshell and relatively speaking a very late decision. Normally these things are announced at least a whole season in advance. Smacks of real incompetence / poor management / headless chicken syndrome! 🫤

Well if you put it like that, how about the riders? They're only working for what, between 3 minutes and 7 minutes in an average meeting. The average Top End Speedway riders, hourly rate must be around £21,000 per hour, that's about the same as very low end Premier League footballer isn't it? 😱 Maybe we should change each race to 12 laps, that way we'd get for 3 x our value for money, and bring these over inflated Speedway Rider salaries down to earth. Alternatively, we could all just go and watch League 2 football, that's about the same price; £24 for a match, instead of these riders who go full throttle, for 4 blistering laps, putting their necks on the line, for the true Speedway fans. Value for money is subjective, and It's personal preference of course, but I know what I'd rather do.
