Hi, Yes you are correct, I had only gone to the meeting to watch and ride the second half, think I had only had a few goes on a speedway bike at the time. Half of the main team didn't turn up for the meeting so I was drafted in on No2 to give the stronger riders easier heats. I do remember Heat 13 with Seemond Stevens and Lee Smart, terrifying.
