  1. Absolutely agree with what you say, but I genuinely feel also a bit of luck will have seen us into the PO. That home defeat to BV was damaging, as was the away defeat when we lost by 6 without Jan Kvech at reserve. If we had picked up the points from these, we would be heading into the Sheffield fixture 2 behind BV. Also, that defeat at Brum when Jan and Ben pulled out. I'm sure everybody has had there fair share of bad luck but this is from our persepctive.
  2. Always good to catch up with you Phil. Thought it was a very topsy turvey meeting thanks to gates 2 and 4 but Belle Vue always good value, especially with Dan in the side.
  3. Lynn to win by 20, Tungate to drop his mechanic live on Eurosport.
  4. I think Nicolai is deserving of a testimonial for his commitment to this country. Albeit, he's not served 10 years at a single club, he has given 17 years to this country. Also, his commitment to Kings Lynn, as it probably is for any club he rides for, is deserving. He has earned the Captains armband, for his presence both when things are going well, but also he's not afraid to front up when the team, or even himself, have had a bad night. For 2026, would I take him back? Yes i would. Those awful Witches look like they will be in or around winning the title, and these are the starting and current rolling averages. Jason Doyle 9.36 8.42 Emil Sajfutdinow 9.12 8.38 Tom Brennan 6.52 7.09 Danny King 6.14 6.64 Adam Ellis 5.47 5.88 Dan Thompson 3.11 5.42 For Nicolai to be effective, he needs to have a top 2 above him, dare I say a Lambert and Kvech, a couple of riders to take the pressure off him. He can then Captain and ride with freedom, and I can still honestly see him putting something on his current 6.42. We need 3/4 riders who will improve from 2025 to 2026, and a number 1, whoever that may be. A strong number 6 has worked to an extent this season, and maybe a fit Ben Cook would still see us challenging for a PO spot, but I don't think we are that far away.
  5. Hang about, is this the same Lewis Kerr who was being clapped and cheered at Poole last week?? Probably by yourself as well, as he Bombered the Bomber in heat 15. The GSA will never reflect the real performances of a rider as they do not include BPs. Lewi is currently averaging 7.36 for the Pirates, and equal split of home and away. He's also still recovering from multiple injuries over the past few seasons, indeed this is the first season i have known relatively injury free. As it stands, Poole will probably win at least a double this year with the current team as it stands, what more do fans want?? Plus, who would replace riders and maintain a level that Lewi has?
