Got back late last night.. had a cracking trip. First time to the Ice Speedway and found it so exciting. I would recommend it to anyone on the main forum. Those boys are mad. My funniest moment was when the Austrian fans set fire to the straw bale fencing with their flares on day 1! More action than any Shorttrack GP.. Thanks to everyone for their advice a few months back!

For the Berlin meeting, what times are they likely to start on both days and how long do they last. Also what part of Berlin is it in. How far is it from the centre and how far from Berlin Sch airport. Is the atmosphere good at Berlin?

I went to this meeting and it was one of the best GP's from what I can remember before the Lech took effect! Tomasz had another great ride that night in his race before the above beating Nicki Pedersen.. If anyone can find that race its well worth watching again..

I thought it was great when he called Kelvin Colin last night, Kelvin did not seemed best pleased and sharply corrected him!!!

Off to Bremen and Dortmund next week to take in some Bundesliga.. Dortmund is very much in the same connurbation as Gelsenkirken.. All very industrial round there though... Thus we are basing overselves in Bremen and then Dortmund.. Easyjet fly very cheaply to both. Will let you know if we find anything of use

The Slovenian GP is really good and what a lovely country.. We went for about 5 days, hired a car and went around the lakes in Slovenian and also visited Croatia..Flew into Klagenfurt, Austria, not far from Ljubljana. Krsko really is in the middle of nowhere.. However we parked up just down the round from the track in a large car park and slept there for the night! Not everybodys cup of tea but we found it all added to a great trip! Wroclaw is lovely and a really relaxing city.. GP atmosphere pretty vibrant too.. not too sure about the racing.. Bydgosczc is great and something really special, however I can only remember the first half of the GP i went to as i go too carried away on the Lech.. Going back this year (i have a hotel booked ).
