P.l.p.final Sheffield V Somerset
soupy replied to Charlieboy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Could be a lot closer than what people think especially with sissis at reserve,a lot depends on how wells, robson and josh bates ride tonight.Think somerset will win at home by +14 so it is up to the tigers to win tonight.Good close meeting and no injuries please and may the best team win overall. -
Firstly well done Glasgow it is a pity one of the teams had to lose out as both have had good seasons.I was standing right next to the Morris incident& thought it was a nasty one but at least Glasgow could use sissis 3 more times but I think it knocked the stuffing out of Morris, get well soon ayres.I was pleased I went up& enjoyed the meeting& had some friendly banter with a couple of Glasgow fans& that is the way it should be.Bye the way would you like some shale back for the track as my pockets are full with standing on bend 2.Special mention to Lambert like somebody else has already said he attacked the track& was a joy to watch.Enjoy the party Glasgow you deserve it & better luck next year Newcastle.

I suppose it can be a two way thing if everybody stopped going week in week out there would be no crowd etc so no profit but then you loose speedway.

Newcastle V Rye House (plkoc) 09/10/2016
soupy replied to ellioth4's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Would of not made much of a difference as r-r only netted 4 points for kus. He would of got 6+ , if a 3 pointer had come in& scored 0 the score would of still been 52-38. -

[ Heavens NO. Riders just making starts and parking up rather than give the ride to someone who wants to ride. Yep I never thought about that I was thinking it might make them want to ride in heat 15 so I can see your point now. -

Yes you are correct but was Chris Widman actually elegible as he was not one of the top 3 scorers& also was not top 3 by average but I suppose he was coming in as a reserved replacement so makes a bit of mockery of heat 15.Time to bring start money back. -
