and where did he finish in the british final. also where did he finish in the gp qualifiers............... oh sorry he was behind bomber and eddie in the british final and didn't make the gp qualifier final (although he was ill). sorry but i'm in the opinion that if they decide that there will be 2 brits in the gp's and there isn't any in the top 8 from the previous year, then the british final winner should be one of them, no matter who it is. At least then they have more of an incentive to take part.

quite simple really, they have decided to have two brits in the GP, Tai - give a good young rider the chance Bomber - British Champion, did the qualifiers and finished best British rider who could be bothered to do them. As I said.................... Quite simple.

tickets booked, B & B booked. just need the hammer back to take up the 3rd ticket & 2nd room at the B & B.

Daddy Hammer & Catmum are staying in the Elgano B & B in Cathedrial Road. Will be in Cardiff around mid-day Friday and in the pub by 1 p.m. Hope to see some of you in the Prince of Wales. Next year though, we will also have The Hammer with us

isn't it a good job scott packed up riding in engalnd this year to concentrate on gaining a top 8 finish in the GP's. well done, that worked well didn't it. mind you, if someone was to put some dirt on the tracks, then maybe we wouldn't be able to fill the program in after the 1st bend. bets thing for the gp's would be to sack olsen and get someone to prepare a track to race on and not just for those who can gate.

No work tomoz, so mummy & daddy hammer will be in cardiff for around 1 pm. Intending to hit the pubs by 2. Will try and pop into the POW sometime. Will head for sandie as we know her. Hope to meet lots of you there.

I sat in the stadium last year, turned and said to my wife, bomber will win this. My early prediction whilst sat in the pub the other week (much to her shock) was Scott Nicholls to win. I have a sneeky feeling that Bomber may well come second. If that turns out to be correct and I haven't had a bet on it (no I didn't put a bet on Bomber last year either) then I will be kicking myself. The odds would be pretty good for that outcome.

I've been to all of them bar the first one and on the whole your right most of the racing is crap and you can fill your prog in after the first bend. BUT Last year the racing was great and the atmosphere is fantastic. I go mainly for the whole weekend thing.

I have been to the last 3 GP's at cardiff having said i would never go to a GP. Although i am a speedway fan, a group of around 9 go not only for the speedway, but also for the weekend. I would agree with some of the comments about the standard of racing as a couple of years ago i had filled my programme in after the first bend and was only wrong twice. But last years racing i thought was actually good. As for the atmosphere, i have to agree that i have never seen anything with a better atmosphere than that produced at Cardiff, although as previously stated, it was a bit silly having a parade when you couldn't see the riders.
