You didn't need to put my comment in perspective, my comment was putting something in perspective. The simple fact is that he has only beat one or two half decent riders, I havent said he wouldn't have won if there were more good riders out there, but the fact is that there weren't.

He didnt really have much to beat, about the only rider who would have put up a challenge had an engine failure in the final! Steffen Mell..... a blast from the past, failed to make it at premier league level if I remember correctly? Have to say that Heffenbrock/Smolinski and Kroner apart, this field is largely premier league second string level at best. Kugelmann is no longer the rider he was.
