Lydd Speedway Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 Lydd Speedway is planning a "Up to 200cc Event for youth and Adults" on SUNDAY 22nd AUGUST Designed to be economy speedway the classes will be: 8 - 11 year olds..... 12 - 15 year olds..... 16 years and over An Entry Form will be available soon ! TN29 9LS DATE: Sunday 22nd AUGUST TIME: 12pm - 5pm RULES & REGS The Sufficient Entries will be: 8 to 11yr olds (any size engine… up to 200cc) ((And will accept twist and go trail & motorcross kids bikes)) 12 to 15yr olds (any size engine… up to 200cc) ((must be upright or laydown Speedway or Grasstrack bikes)) 16yrs and Adults (any size engine… up to 200cc) ((must be upright or laydown Speedway or Grasstrack bikes)) BIKES All bikes must be fitted with ignition cut-outs. Its a condition of lydds planning permission that all bikes should be fitted with 102db silencers. Dirt deflectors will not be required. All other rules and regs will be as SCB handbook. MEDICAL COVER At least one ambulance, one Paramedic and two first aiders will be attendance. LYDD SPEEDWAY HAS BEEN PROVING TO BE ONE OF THE BEST SMALL TRACKS IN THE COUNTRY AT THE MO.... I WILL EXTEND THE ENTRY CLOSING DATE UNTILL FRIDAY 13TH AUGUST... I CAN'T BELIVE IT, I'M SADENED.... I think the chances are that several of the youngsters who would race are already riding in grasstrack meetings on that date (Swindon have a double header that week-end).
