Quite right: Laurence Rogers has done more for British speedway than just about anyone. I spent five years trying to help a rider make his way in speedway, in the face of massive indifference from the promoters and the BSPL in general. But everyone knows that speedway riders come from Denmark, Poland and Australia, don't they?

Graham Drury,God Bless him,always thought you were a bit of a t**t.He wasn't wrong!!🤭

Since he has been involved with Brum I have never seen so many speedway followers walk away from watching speedway at Birmingham.Would you like me to compile a list of followers who watched every home meeting both home and away for 10 years since the re-launch back in 2007?Every other Midlands speedway teams have gone to the wall and Brum are the last team remaining and wtf has been done on getting those lapsed speedway followers keeping an interest in continuing watching speedway?Things may have been a litle different regarding the outcome of the Brummies fate come the end of the season if this had been focused on.

Maybe very supportive to young riders making their way in the sport but at present Birmingham Speedway is supposedly a Premiership team🤔How dare you refer to folk being complete and utter muppets who followed their team literally everywhere the Brummies have ridden🤬

My post was on youth level speedway not premiership speedway!!! I made my point that they (muppets) not Birmingham fans general posters, you should read the post correctly, however, so what if every other club folded in the midlands that doesn’t give Birmingham the divine right to expect other supporters to attend does it?? He incidentally put on coaches for wolves fans when they shut but nobody used them! Get your facts straight before posting

WOLVES STRENGTHEN POSITION AT TOP OF MDL TABLE WITH CLOSE WIN OVER THE BULLS

Table topping WOLVES went five points clear at the top of the Midland Development League table defeating the Birmingham DUCTAIR Bulls narrowly 19-17 also achieving the bonus point 37-15.

With two meetings remaining for them the WOLVES are looking favourites to be crowned the 2025 champions.

They achieved their victory without Harley Driscoll-Freeman due to a van problem with rider replacement serving them well. Both the impressive Dylan Huthwaite and skipper Ryan Ashcroft won their outings in his place.

Teenager Huthwaite battled hard for his 9 points from 4 outings whilst Ashcroft notched an unbeaten 9 from 3 rides . Harry Fletcher, back from injury , struggled but added a vital point to the team’s total.

For the DUCTAIR Bulls Jacob Fellows top scored with 7 whilst cousin Bailey had 5+1. The Crewe brothers Joe and Jack added 4+1 and 1+1 respectively but the home side were just pipped at the post.

Next up on July 21st sees the two Birmingham sides the SUPPORTERS CLUB Buffaloes take on the DUCTAIR Bulls.
