Speedway GP meeting reserves.

Recommended Posts

Please can you help me with the following question.

In the unlikely event the either of the meeting reserves (no.17 & no.18) score enough points to qualify for the LCQF do their points count in the series standings? Or are they only shown in the Grand Prix round they were scored?

By meeting reserves I mean those that come in for an exclusions etc and not the wildcard or standby riders.

They will count in the standings- all GP points scored in every round count in the final World Championship totals.

I actually complained once to the FIM when one of the regular season 15 riders was excluded in his 1st race and injured never rode again and in the standings finished 17th scoring no GP points on the night, with 16th and 1 point given to a reserve who also scored 0 but didn’t have an exclusion - so beat him on countback !!!
