Would like to see perks at Newcastle if the riders who occupy 2 & 4 are stuggling.. but a doubt that would happen

Decent it looked like Harris was teaching him about lines etc & Jordan looked a class act

Good day until the hail storm arrived at the EWR today some very good lads on show most of them national league riders & was great to see bomber Harris blasting around it getting nice & close to the air fence

Making judgments on how other clubs go about there business is nothing to do with him and just lends itself to the criticism he receives especially on here.
Very true...

Even when they signed the likes of Danny bird shane parker joe screen etc which under that promotion they nearly went out of bizz until the faccena brothers stepped in it would have been a Tesco supermarket site now probably so let the owners keep chucking money at it if it keeps it going which is what matters but they still won't win the league with that side I'm afraid .. I reckon Leicester are the team to beat with the top 5 they have

Just a wee bit & I say thank f@@k for rob rescuing the diamonds coz if the previous lot had still been incharge well we would be in a river without a padel & that's the polite phrase

Vissing and a few others are lucky they can get the ridiculous wages they have been demanding over the years, hence the financial difficulty’s in the sport. In the main it’s a Sport run by Amateur’s and Sponsers with a few Bob to lose.
Glasgow need to remember before the money men came on board & they still haven't won ( which they have tried to by ) the league yet & yip they won't win it this year either

Keeps the crowds coming in at home and doesnt cost loads in points money for the two matches to be covered..
No chance of silverware maybe but a definite chance of not losing money, and maybe even making some..
10/10 to the Newcastle Promotion for making what was I am sure a very tough decision....
Just hope the crowd sticks with the promotion & keeps backing the club as ( I hope I'm wrong but I can forsee some home defeats ) I think Connor can push his average up to the 6 point mark & james could be our jewel in the crown & if donon can stay clear of injury it will be a decent season fingers crossed but if the teams are getting thumped weekly on double headers even tho £20 is a worth price paying but in these uncertain times how many can afford it.. But roll on the 6th of June ..

There are various government sporting grants and loans that may be obtained which may offset the loss of crowd numbers if that remains the issue however personally I wouldn't be going down he loan route as I doubt the club would ever make the money back against a loan to pay it off... so grant yes loan no... if feasible...
However there may be some better news on the horizon... but if not we have waited this long what's another 5 weeks in the grand scheme of things...

What's another 5 weeks if it's going to keep the club safe and more importantly the fans safe

Might be Monday the 21st if we can get a facility to run on that night...
Delete that man... you can't make statements like that you will get yourself in bother... or at least the contentious bit...

28 minutes ago, TotallyHonestJohn said:Well there you have it...
The government say 50% of capacity up to 10,000 fans.... so thats okay as Brough holds 1800 fans according to the stadium owners so a crowd of 900 great... so that's ok we could manage with that.... however the government also say it's down to the local authority... like anything during this Covid carry on nothing is straightforward...
So the council said a while back... Brough Park... oh that holds 1200 and when they were asked how they come to that figure they said it's down to the amount of toilets; entrances and exits... so fair enough 600 fans... yep it's tight but it's doable so great we can go...
So back to the council to say okay we are going to run from the 17th of May what do you need from us... well say the council you need extra toilets and a Covid safety plan; extra stewarding; and a plan on how you will segregate the 75 allowed in the seating area in the bars and the 224 fans (No not 225 it was 224 wtf) on the terraces... eh!!! Whoa??? Was the response you said 600 where does this 299 figure come from... well says the council we dont feel you will be able to successfully segregate your fans even with extra stewarding and extra toilets so we have come up with a number we feel you can safely manage?
So the promotion say well your honours we think we will be okay and will be able to manage and put lots of safety measures in place and the council say tough its non negotiable we are telling you that's the number we consider you can safely control... 299 fans doesn't support a championship team hence the decision to put back the home meetings to the 21st of June when hopefully all these restrictions are lifted (or at least slackened off a bit more)
Honestly I wouldn't blame Rob in the slightest if he threw his hand in ... I bet he can't remember driving under that ladder running over that black cat then crashing into the mirror shop because if it wasn't for bad luck the bloke would have no luck whatsoever...

THJ
110% spot on big man . it just seems a bit unreal as the date for the speedway to start is when the restrictions will be ( hopefully lifted )

I think that after it became clear that he needed much longer time to regain his fitness he was replaced by Jan Gravensen.
