Kiwi, Dane & Brit (with unique name) to complete side?
-
2016 was certainly a trying one for the Devils faithful. A side that had plenty of potential never really got going, but the Fours success was a bright spark in an otherwise challenging year. The good news is that Plymouth have confirmed they will be running again in 2017, in which league seems to be very open at the moment. Whilst not being privy to the finances, the crowd levels at SBA were for the large part quite disappointing, and going forward they must remain a cause for concern. Noone is really quite sure what the league structure will be like in 2017 at this moment, but if the rumours are to believed, a weaker PL product would probably suit Plymouth very well indeed. As for the class of 2016 who will stay, who will go? Looking at the latest Green Sheets, Newman's average of 6.31 will surely make him one of the hottest properties over the winter months. I thought his starting average of 6.84 was low for him, but a tough year full of injuries has sent his average spiralling downwards. If I were a betting man, whether Plymouth can retain the services of the captain will go a long way to deciding whether they will be running PL or NL.

Impressive side so far. Side looks to be built like it should, not ridiculously top heavy, like some will be.

Riders are generally deducted basic insurance @ source, usually at £5 per race, IIRC. It's then up to the individual rider if they want to take out additional, and more comprehensive, insurance cover.

Wouldn't have thought Poole would be interested in Auty....

The Premiership 'averages' are only artificial. Guys like Doyle won't be expecting to get near their average. People are taking the term 'average' far too literally with the new averages.
-
Somerset tried to get Mountain, but believe he turned them down, so looks unlikely they are going for the well-rounded approach.
-
Don't think Lykke will happen now, as Rosco appears to have a broken calculator.
-
All Championship sides are practically complete, with the exception of sides arguing over 2 pointers. A good 2 pointer can literally name their price with the ridiculous rules.
-
Morris' average is incorrect. From memory, he's a shade short of 9 pt average.
-
Didn't his family used to work at the track or something?
-
That's a valid point Matt, and one I had forgotten about. Bowden did say there was a limit of 2 double uppers.
-
Bellego is bit of a weird signing. Really don't think he has anything that Sedgmen (near identical average + asset (I think)?) doesn't, but time will tell.
-
I think many teams will be safricing strength at reserve
-
What makes you think that?
-
Nearly all teams (in UK, Denmark, Poland, Sweden) need to be reasonably heavily sponsored to make ends meet. In the event of insufficient sponsorship, that gap is usually met by the owners usually via one of their other business.
-
Or a Robson?
-
Noone knows quite yet, but Rye House certainly won't be the whipping boys of the Premiership, so looks like they will have a better team than many!
-
You can add Nielsen to that list too
-
Not convinced a 750 mile round trip would be financially feasible for either party in NL, to be honest.
-
He has a 10.5 (ish) average in relative terms, hardly unachievable. Certainly achievable if he brings his GP form into the country. Sounds like Ford thinks strength in depth is the route to go, and that's why Holder has been shown the door.
-
Why obviously?
-
Kurtz was lowering his average for Plymouth, that much was clear.
-
Maybe he will end up at a different UK club?
-
He's no Kevin Brice, that's for sure.
