About Me

My parents met at Plough Lane, and I first went to speedway when I was three weeks old. Even though I had a long and successful career in darts (including 25 years as a full-time professional player), speedway always was - and still is - my favourite sport.

Music has always been a big part of my life, and for several years, I was the principal guest host on "Classic Tracks" on KFUO FM, St. Louis' classical music station. Outside of classical (my favourite composer is Frederick Delius), my absolute top artist is Tom Waits. Some other faves are Jim Reeves, Cat Stevens, Madness, Petula Clark, Mannheim Steamroller, Billy Joel, Herb Alpert and the TJB, Neil Innes, and The Seekers.

I love British comedy, such as Monty Python, Ripping Yarns, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Still Game, Fawlty Towers, Beyond the Fringe, I Didn't Know You Cared, Mornin' Sarge, The Young Ones, and many more.
