Ipswich fan here To go without either of your 2 top scorers in heat 15 is poor management from Edinburgh Glasgow had their top 2 in and didn’t put Harris. The result may have been the same but surely you have to go with your form riders

For me, the top three are nailed on. The bottom two are sadly also nailed on. The most exciting battle appears to be between the Lions and Lynn for the play offs. The big guns have two GP level riders who can step up in heats 13 &15. The Lions have an out and out No.1, weak reserves and a balanced main team body in between. Lynn however have gone for the ultimate balance with six riders on 6+ averages. Neither team has the obvious fire power in the latter heats of matches, but I’m interested to see which team structure of the two is the most successful. -
Good match tonight on a well-prepared track. Several good races, the best being the 3-man tussle in Heat 14 with Leon Flint grabbing a very important 2nd on the line. Leon had done something similar in heat 10 after a great race with Jonatan Grahn and these two last bend overtakes went a long way to bringing the Tigers victory. A fine home debut by Oskar Polis and personally I would have gone for an Oskar Victor pairing in Heat 15, but I've a feeling it wouldn't have changed the result. Still quite optimistic for the season ahead.

As you say currently and it is that way because certain stars are not performing not because there is an imbalance and I believe this may be down to air temperature and certain tuners struggle until the weather gets warmer, and for those who laugh at that statement then maybe you should go an ask certain riders why they can’t seem to get their engines to perform right,my point was about rider to rider with Mike saying Ipswich have better riders 1-7 and I said that’s not right because MJJ is currently a better than Doyle or sayfutinow or indeed anyone in the Ipswich line up, he is currently the fastest rider in the world and tonight in Poland again showcasing his form, people seem to forget that after get trounced by Leicester at home Birmingham went to Leicester and but for zagar have an EF on the start line of heat 13 would of come away with a win and have also come the closest to beating Ipswich this season and even when they had a rider missing and their no1 having a shocker still managed more than either belle vue or Oxford at Ipswich -
Pretty rubbish from a so called no 1 considering it’s a similar track to EWR..can’t wait for the excuses it’s the start of the season so trying to find the right set up..it was overwatered etc etc

I think the decision to put Sedgmen in 15 can just about be justified by the fact he won heat 13 on what looked to be a different bike from his first 3, so the hope was he would pop out the start the same again. Going with Paco however was a terrible decision, assuming Polis didn't turn it down, while his time in heat 14 wasn't quick he is a good gater, all that being said I don't think anyone was beating Dan Thompson tonight it was a faultless display. Palovaara as others have said was underused should have been nailed on to replace Thomson in heat 9.
