Really disappointed that it’s r/r for a no1 when there is only 1 other meeting on the night, there is still a slim chance over the last 2 home of getting into the playoffs there is six points available for the last 2 home meetings, find it very puzzling

Also how come Dickson didnt kick up a fuss about the track being wet after what happened not so long ago? I suspect he just wanted this meeting out of the way to avoid an end of season fixture squeeze. The Lions have a few headaches at he moment what with trying to replace Howarth and now the injuries to Thompson & Morris.

I'm told that Lawson often turns up with dirty equipment (corresponding to when he's been at Poole the night before?). There's an interesting video on the Witches FaceBook page, showing the machinery in the pits last night, and this is a comment from his mechanic: "It's ok it's Richards bike they're like that on a normal day I'm used to it. Good night we even started with bike building."
