Just for the record Doyle and Emil were going to do heat 15….. the plan was that the 5th and 6th placed scorers were to do heat 15 if the meeting and bonus points were secured and that was Doyle and Emil …. Emil declined as he was having bike issues hence Tom did heat 15 and the match races It’s not hard to work out unless you are from Manchester -

Thompson had 7 plus 2 so 3 riders all on 9 As mentioned Doyle had had a crash and offered to do heat 15….. Emil had bike issues ….. so no they hadn’t qualified automatically…. Yet another poster trying to make something out of nothing or having an inability to read
