absolutely agree he was very distinctly stylish on the bike - leg trailer without equal and looked spectacular in full flow. In terms of foot forward then Leigh Adams was super smooth and also Malcolm Simmonds - he was well into his 40s when he did that half season at Arena in 1989 but the first time i saw him ride i thought wow he is super smooth and stylish. -

The vast majority of sports are amateur or semi-pro, including olympic athletes. Those competitors make it work but you say speedway riders cannot? -

Looks to me like the 1 rider only over 8 point average falls within the "knee jerk"category because I fail to see the logic. Would love a meaningful explanation from the BSPL as to why this will help remedy the speedway malaise of not getting enough supporters through the gate. If this is what has been leaked already then I am not hopeful of any meaningful change. No disrespect to Phil Morris but he doesn't seem to have really changed British Speedway for the better but he does appear to have created a nice little niche for himself and is now an expert with a rake. I can't see Harry Redknapp helping much either. Think I've slipped back into negativity mode 😟😀 -
