That was my initial thought, but teams will not be able to accommodate two riders that will dominate heats 13 & 15 with next seasons reduced points limit, so Dougy at No.1 may not be so bad. Dickson is right to build without Fricke (as good as he’s been), because it would leave the Lions with an even weaker tail than what we’ve had for the last two seasons. Getting Gilkes in as the RS would be a great move in my opinion.

Douglas was 5th in last years averages. That makes him an out and out number 1.

Seems to be an annual topic this, is Craig Cook worth the risk? He's just about as good as anyone in this league on his day. But I've lost count how many last chances he's had, how many times he's gone AWOL and let people down.  Ability - yes.  Reliability - no. 

Did someone mention that over 70  riders were contesting the Polish U21 Championship? When you are laying out £1000 a point, and upwards, you will never be short of riders...
