Seriously, it’s that attitude that brings this sport down. I’ve no skin in the game but as someone who quite happily puts money aside each week to attend my club. If I were a working fan I’d be a bit p’d off. Do I think the fans deserve a news letter outlining everything, no. A polite statement to say “we are doing our best and we appreciate your patience” would go a long way. For me speedway is a get together for three generations of our family. We love our trackside evenings out but if that’s in doubt we would spend the money the clubs need elsewhere. In an age of social media and public image speedway needs to do better. The days of waiting for the star to come out are gone. What could really save the sport is public engagement not secrecy. -

Oxford are over 2 points above the limit, wouldn't be easy to fit Nicholls back in. Who would they drop Jenkins (injured), Knudsen (misses matches)? Jody Scott would've been useful on a 2, but he's not available now.
