But it is true several clubs don't break even with the numbers of spectators coming through the gates, the sponsorship big or small helps to balance the books. Also,maybe more so in the past than now (due to financial rules) a speedway team was offset against a business to offset tax etc

If only four other riders in the league have over an eight point average he could possibly increase his own... He did get a few "gimmes" when Becker was out, but he would have faced the other five eight point riders very often in Ht 13 and Ht 15... With one less to race this year I can see him again having a good season... (If there is a season for the top tier!!)

If that was true, why would they continue to run the following season knowing they would loose money? Hardly sensible business projection is it ? -
I don't see value in Fricke's average as their is little opportunity to improve it much next season so I would not have him in my team for 2026.
