    • Well hopefully me and my friend who lives in the toon & is an avid tigers supporter and me a diamond through n through even tho I love coming to Redcar to see some old friends this Friday coming will witness some great speedway at the bears home
    • Are you a troll? I forget. Iversen must be averaging more than any other Star to be at #1.   Yet he could (I think) be the only one of the riders that turn up (not Cook) that hasn't spent any time this season at reserve? Musielak disappears, Cook disappears... what does the Norfolk air do to these generally committed riders? Congratulations Lions, it'll be 52+ for you at Beaumont Park easily.
    • I'm not convinced Aces will win this... Witches bottom end will out score Mulford & Zishcke easily.  Brennan, King & Ellis are likely to get the better of Blodorn too.  No fumbles allowed from Cook or Lidsey either. Ipswich have gone off the boil considering their dominant early season form. And Gavan is wrong... there are lots of passes on the inside at the NSS.
    • Went for the last visit to Perry Bar, Aces won at a Canter, but the track was awful, does Speedway no favours.
    • With hardly any characters in ANY SPORT these days Speedway needs to go back to basics and NOT FINE anyone who even thinks about causing a problem or raising his voice in an argument.Ian thomas bless him was not everyones cup of tea but did he get people talking about things in an meeting when the racing was boring he got people talking and WE NEED PEOPLE like him to bring an element of friction in a meeting. In the UK these days the riders just swan in and out of the country ,with no element of doing anything other to score whats good for them and get out again and onto the next meeting.WITH FINES making people scared to breath speedway has gone stale, bring back the telephone and make it bigger and better for the riders to talk to the ref WITHOUT the risk of being fined,we know he/she wont change their mind but it was all part of the banter at one time when the racing was rubbish  at least you had that element of banter that kept everyone talking.why cant we just get back to the natural reaction of riders without the risk of being fined?
    • You can’t say this to Belle Vue fans they can’t accept it  We all know Belle Vue is the best track in the country  Many passes at Belle Vue are simply the home riders going out in the dirt and blasting round the outside … yes it’s fast it looks good but it isn’t skillful …..the best races (British final last race) will happen at Belle Vue because the track lends itself to great racing  I diner need prefer the technical aspect and seeing top riders ride all the different tracks Watch on you tube Loram v Karlsson brothers at Monmore Green or Eastbourne v Poole in 1999 and tell me they aren’t fantastic races/meetings by world class riders who could ride all sorts of tracks not just ones that need fast bikes  As much as I want Kurtz to win the world title I wonder if riders like him or even Zmarzlik would have ever coped with those tracks and not just the rocket ship big tracks abroad today  I saw an interview with Todd Wiltshire and he said the most talented riders he had ever seen was Mark Loram Joe Screen and Andrew Silver around Arena Essex… Wiltshire said the skill levels were off the charts  I expect Belle Vue to win by 14-16 and I hope there is some good racing …. Though I’m expecting race updates to read about ‘Witches make the start before (insert any Belle Vue rider) goes around them on bends 3-4”….. to me I prefer 2 riders battling and skill required for the overtake  But yes the NSS is the best track gives the best racing …. But accept that other tracks do too
