  2. Or why don't you mention Matej Zagar? Since there are only two places available to qualify for GP series next year, let's say it will be Zagar and Bjerre. Do you agree Garf?
  3. Hi Tom, here are some people that might me able to help you (i'm not sure if all this addresses are still working) : - Czech Republic : Antonin Skach : mail@speedwayinfo.cz or tony.skach@seznam.ch - Sweden : Anders Nilsson : filbyterna@hotmail.com - Italy : Mauro Cavazzana : mauro.cavazzana@virgilio.it - Hungary : Sandor Csire : sandor.csire@freemail.hu I saw that you have already tried to contact Roman Chyla for polish leagues.

  6. Hi Jeffster! Haven't been there, but I found their website: http://hotel-sirius.wz.cz/index.php Unfortunately it's is czech lanaguage only.
  7. Hi Jeffster! You can try slovenian railway company (Slovenske Zeleznice) website: http://www.slo-zeleznice.si Click on ENGLISH, then INFORMATION, then NATIONAL TIMETABLE. A window will open where you need to enter starting and finishing point of your journey. As VSTOPNA POSTAJA enter Ljubljana, and as IZSTOPNA POSTAJA enter Krsko and then click on ISKANJE POVEZAVE. A list of all trains that connect Ljubljana and Krsko will open. Please note that all the trains that have a word DA under OPOMBA column DO NOT drive on Saturdays, Mondays and during holidays period. So appropriate trains from Ljubljana to Krsko on GP weekend are: 6:50 , 8:35 , 10:50 , 15:50 , 18:50 and 21:05 You can of course use others too, but only if you plan to come to Krsko on Friday. For the return journey from Krsko to Ljubljana, instead of clicking on ISKANJE POVEZAVE, click on POVEZAVE NAZAJ. Appropriate trains for you to return to Ljubljana from Krsko are: 5:57 , 7:17 , 8:24 , 11:18 , 13:17 , 18:23 , 21:53 The journey from Ljubljana to Krsko last around 1h 40 minutes, but it depends on the type of train (local, intercity, ...). I just received some additional info about prices : One way ticket from Ljubljana to Krsko costs : 1180 SIT = 4.96 Euros = 3.33 British pounds . Return (2 way) ticket from Ljubljana to Krsko and back to Ljubljana costs : 1650 SIT = 6.94 = 4.66 British pounds . I hope this helps. If you want to know anything else, regarding the prices, type of the trains or anything else, just let me know ans I'll try to search for you. Tomaz
  8. Nice to see that so many forum members are on my side. What else to say : Crumpy is the best !!!
  9. I think this competition is a good idea, although a bit too late as both Slovenian young stars (Zagar and Kolenko) will be too old to participate in it.
  10. Polska, i didn't say Zagar will be world champion this year - in fact he can't be, cause he is not in the GP series. But I'm still saying that he is an excellent rider and in 2 or 3 years he will be fighting for the world top. And one more thing, don't judge him if you haven't seen him riding! And about Tomasz Gollob - he won't be world champ too - be fair, he had his chance a few years, and couldn't reach the top of the rostrum. If you ask me, Jarek Hampel or Kris Cegielski (once he comes back on track) will be world champs before Tommek. Tomaz
  11. Do you have a problem with Matej Zagar!!! Just wait until he comes to polish leagues, he will kick some big asses there!!! Just ask the british supporters what he is capable of.
  12. Come on, Tommek is past his best years. Matej Zagar and Jason Crump are the best!!!
  13. Germany Speedway Fan, where can I find lineups for german teams for 2004 season - at least 1.Bundesliga. I know the lineup for Parchim/Wolfslake (with Matej Ferjan), but what about other teams?
  14. Hi Latvian-Speedway! It's a bit off topic, but could you send me Latvian speedway calendar for 2004 season. I've been to your homepage but can't find the calendar. You can post it up here or send it to : tomazpozrl@yahoo.com Tomaz

  16. Hi guys! Just wanted to inform you that EasyJet will start a direct line from London Stansted to Ljubljana in May. This might be interesting for all of you who are thinking of coming to Krsko for Slovenian Grand Prix in September. I checked their website and the return flight from Stansted to Ljubljana and back to Stansted would cost you only 46 pounds for one person. The flight is on Friday at 12.45 pm , and the return flight is on Sunday at 16.15 pm from Ljubljana. This is much cheaper than Slovenian Airline company Adria Airways that flies to Gatwick for 162 pounds per person. I also checked Ryan Air, but they don't have direct lines to Ljubljana. They fly to some of the Italian and Austrian airports and the only comparable flight to EasyJet is the one to Venice on Friday morning (6am from Stansted) and then the return flight on Sunday Evening (10pm) for around 23 pounds per person. All other Ryan Air flights are much more expensive. And of course Venice is much farther from Krsko than Ljubljana. Tomaz
  17. Hi all! Just got a response from AMD Krsko. The club secretary told me, that tickets will be available (for reservations) in May, so the same time as last year. Tomaz
  18. Ok, Gazza, I'll let you know when tickets go on sale. Tomaz
  19. Hi! I also doubt if Slovenian embassy or tourist information centre will know anything about Gp in Krsko. This year when event was held on July 12th, the organizers started to sell tickets at the beginning of May, so I doubt next season will be any different. Plus Gp will be staged in September! 20. Zivjo Darija!
