The bottom line is at most tracks not enough fans are turning up,the less meetings ran the less the losses are. Sponsorship and Fan Club Sponsorship is keeping it viable at a number of tracks not the crowd levels.
I really enjoy the racing at Ashfield get in a few visits /season.Great racing track.Strong Tigets Team this year really do hope they miss the gate a few timesš
The amount of free dates available these days surely some kind of challenge could organised. To be honest I couldnāt really care these days, just go along and watch some matches hoping for a good meeting. Its all a bit of shambles IMO.
I can also remember Doug having a horrendous crash with team mate Wayne Briggs at Meadowbank. He was a very hard rider and took no prisoners ( Team mate or not )
I agree huge majority of the fans havenāt a clue whatās going on regarding Craig Cook.Surely a simple statement from the Promotion saying that Craig is having personal problems which they are trying to resolve(if that is the case?) would have been suffice.Instead we get all sorts mixed messages from people which doesnāt help anybody(Club or Fans or the sport).
Was thinking the same, either that or the Organisers have 6 wheels with tyres on.Riders would just have too change sprockets. They would then take the rims back and keep them for future similar events.
