  1. And Sam Emerlenko is what nationality? And why the big comparison between Scott and Emil on the rest of the season? Why single out scotty? Emil will be riding against 15 other riders until the end of the season. wolfy!!!!
  2. No not that scotty is better than him as i can see that Emil has much faster equipment, the fact that he may not be as good as his no.2 standing suggests. Do not know what pictures you were watching though as scotty was in front of him before Emil hit his dirt deflector. And if you listened to all and i say all the experts on Sky none could understand what Emil's beef was. If the move had been carried out by leigh Adams no one would be even questioning the move, just the people who seem to be infatuated with damning scotty whatever he does. Shame they do not spend their lives encouraging the riders they do support. wolfy!!!!
  3. I am not going to estimate on what would or would not have been a good hit without helmets as its pure speculation, scotty landing a good one himself. All i know is the little spoilt brat was peeved that scotty out done him on the last bend and reality struck him with how the night was going. wolfy!!!!
  4. And your assumption is based on what? Your statement is purely childish and belongs in the playground just as holloway's actions were. wolfy!!!!
  5. The move dryml put on him was to leave no room at all, scotty left plenty of room for Emil to go round him he chose to stay mid track. If he had wanted he could of moved out wider. Wolfy!!!
  6. The gesture of congratulations is a rider putting out a hand. wolfy!!!!
  7. Right Ok, in front of the noise of 42,000 people, wearing helmets and gesturing like he had been swiped by a lorry he wants to have a civil discussion. Come on chap pull the other one its gots bells on it. Wolfy!!!
  8. Why did Emil gesture to Scott from a distance after the race? What was his gripe? Why did he not go back to the pits and shut up? Scotty did nothing wrong in the race and is then confronted by an angry Emil who had nothing to be angry about. wolfy!!!!
  9. Why did Emil have anything to say on the incident? It was hard and fair riding. Personally i think he was getting stressed as he lost in his first heat and last in Heat 5. He should have rode off into the pits instead of gestering to scotty that the move was unfair. Scotty was only defending what he did which is spot on as again the move was perfectly fair. Wolfy!!!!
  10. Personally i think Scotty only did what half the other riders have felt like doing. Emil needs to calm down a bit, he was out manourvered on the last bend and did not like it but it was fair. It appears he and his team think they are something they are not yet, i admit he maybe in the future but he has to earn it over longer than a few GP's and so far he is not gaining many friends. wolfy!!!!
  11. 'Crying like a baby' what planet are you on (oh yes i forgot the i hate Scotty planet cos he has won 2 british domestic titles as captain) Why can you not say something constructive like 'Scotty did nothing wrong and rode a good race to keep him behind'. Emil needs to learn a lot. Scotty gave him plenty room around the outside. There are riders that i do not take a liking too but i will not knock them especially when they are down. Wolfy!!!
  12. To be honest i do not like Hans but i would not waste my time bitching on about him and professionally i think he is a great rider. I'd rather spend my time supporting british riders. Wolfy!!!!
  13. why is everyone picking up on the move tha nicholls made? Is it because its Nicholls? is it because of what was at stake? All i know is that i have only been into speedway for a couple of years and i have seen many more incidents mirroring this one where the decision is made by the ref and the riders get on with it. No grudge just hard riding. So lets leave this issue alone now i think its been done to death and also from what i hear Scotty and Bomber are sorted.(Come on the bees tonight) Wolfy!!!!!
  14. Both are Cov legends in my eyes! Scotty made a genuine mistake, the ref should have been the one to make him pay and he did not. Feel for Bomber but i am sure after the anger has gone he will forgive Scott as it was not malicious. Wolfy!!!
  15. Cynical= showing contempt for accepted standards of honesty or morality by one's actions, esp. by actions that exploit the scruples of others. Mistaken=an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness etc If you think Scotty meant to take out Bomber you are walking up the wrong path. Cynical no, mistaken maybe. Wolfy
  16. The most sensible post on this thread, now i know why you are a Sir. Bomber will be angry it happened and Scotty will be sad it happened to Bomber but they are both racers and respect each other. As i stated before no malicious intent Wolfy!!!
  17. Please do not paint Scotty Nicholls with the brush of Hans Andersen, as i said before scotty went for a move with no malicious intent he made a mistake fair and square and the ref was wrong in not dealing with it. You cannot blame scotty for the refs bottle dropping. Wolfy!!!
  18. They were both racing hard, Scott took Chris early in the race, chris came back and then scott went fast into the corner thinking bomber was going to move onto the middle line. Scott basically made a mistake nothing malicious at all and its the ref's fault as he is there to look at it (or not as per last night) to then make a decision. The ref let Bomber down and not scotty and Bomber will understand that, i know some people on here think scotty would have knocked bomber off on purpose to make sure he qualified but i afraid your wrong and thankfully Bomber knows that as well and was angry at the ref. There will be no problem when they ride for Coventry this week. Wolfy!!!!
