Cardiff ticket refunds?
Iggy replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Got my refund....It does state face value refund in the email so happy with that. Nothing to do with the organiser that the £1.95 booking fee isn't refunded. See Tickets charged it and I guess they are trying to make things work too. I do think we need to come to terms with pay for it or lose it. -
Well done on the Podcast. Really good to hear the plans and initiatives for the new season. Really hope that the 90th celebration comes off (with a big hint that Nicki will be asked back, and I hope Crumpy might make an appearance too if it happens). I guess if there is a big break mid-season as there was last year, this might be a good time to put something like this on?!! Looking forward to getting back to it, and to seeing some close, competitive racing.

Cardiff 2019 Saturday September 21st
Iggy replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Cardiff City playing at home on 21st September at 3pm v Middlesbrough. Not sure what that means for the parking which was at the stadium last year? -
Seems the sensible thing for Eastbourne to move up and continue supporting Tom through his career development. It's always been a family club that look after their own, and there are half the team that would need to go if they don't step up. I can't imagine any profit/loss will be much more painful than National League?

Poole Vs Someset Play off semi Final 2nd Leg 01/10/18

.....unless they don't get to heat 10 before the curfew!!! Cynical old me -
Great summary of it from my POV too. Tai and NKI passes at the end were worth the admission fee alone. I agree completely about Kildemand. Soft exclusions, and when you see how NKI passed Pedersen (who stayed on), that is what racing is all about. I also backed NKI at 14/1 before the meet too so that pretty much paid for the weekend!!

Eastbourne 'it First' Eagles V 'restart' Rye House Raiders (nt)
Iggy replied to TurnTwo's topic in National League Speedway
So after reading Brendan's statement, and as an Eastbourne fan, I feel embarrassed and hope he can get the help he needs to sort his demon's out. After how he was treated, and some of the comments on here, I'm not surprised he is struggling. Good luck for the future Brendan, hope to see you on a bike again. -
Speedway World Cup 2012
Iggy replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Can't wait for the World Cup, especially after Sky sold it so well last night; apparently it "never fails to disappoint"!!! -
I know that the date of the British Grand Prix has been announced for 2005, but does anybody know the rest of the dates, in particular the date of the Czech Republic Grand Prix (if there is one) in Prague?

Is it a team event then?

Hang on, didn't Joe Screen slow down the race the year Mark Loram won the world title?

It was interesting to see how the whole Danish Team stepped up their game at the Norweigan Grand Prix, and how this coupled with the tactical knowledge Jacob Olsen brought to the team seemed to give Nicki the lift he needed. Firstly, in Nicki's first race their was no advantage to winning it, and coming in last appeared to give him the best opposition in the next race. Was this Jacob Olsen's intent? Secondly, Ronnie and Bjarne Pederson doing so well always appeared to show that their may have been a back up plan (although I'm not sure where they found the extra speed they have been lacking all year). Finally, in the semi-final did Bjarne Pederson hold up Scott Nicholls and Thomas Gollob to allow Nicki through? I know that people will say that there is no team riding in Grand Prix, but I only have to take you back to the year Mark Loram won it, and Joe Screen helped him round in the last race, and also the consecutive year's that Billy Hamill and Greg Hancock won it when they seemed to help each other out all through the season.
