Thanks for the update mate. If it's purely a financial decision then who am I to argue, can't expect them to be taking a big hit in the pocket every week. One last thing but are we National League for the foreseeable future then?

Why not the Premier League then or can they not afford that league either? Iam sorry but I can't see the club getting a new stadium when they are offering National League speedway. The roadworks have finished and have been since before Christmas.

Thought the reason for dropping down was we couldn't run on Fridays due to the bad traffic? Someone is not telling the full truth by the sounds of it. Maybe the terrible traffic has been all the people fighting there way to the raceway and now it's National League the M25 should be nice and clear.

People would need to know what day or night the club intends to run before commiting to a season ticket.

That's not what I am saying mate, Iam speaking purely from a Lakeside fans point of view when I say most probably don't no much about national league riders. I think the Lakeside fans that have decided to give this league ago will turn up regardless because most won't really no much about any rider. How many more people will really turn up if the club signed stoneman instead of mason for example? I've never seen or heard of stoneman and I guess it will be the same for a lot of Lakeside fans.

Fans of national league teams maybe but with Lakeside being in the elite league I doubt many fans would no much about any rider you have just mentioned, Iam speaking purely from a Lakeside fans point of view. Obviously riders like Ellis and Lambert will be known from the elite league. I have heard of Mason but couldn't tell you a single thing about him.

I very much doubt the signing of Mason will stop fans going, a good percentage of fans including myself have no idea who most of the riders in the National league are. Also I don't think their is a rider at this level that will pull punters through the gates, people will either enjoy this standard of racing or they won't in my opinion. I will give it ago but I'll be surprised if I go back much if it's like last time.

Can't really comment but does not seem a good signing, I can't see me making many trips to the raceway to be honest. What's the grub like at Rye?

Iam not sure what the standard is like now if Iam being honest but all I would like to see is four riders racing and not falling off. If the racing is good that's what will make people go, when I watched it last time I didn't enjoy the standard of racing at all.

Who will the punters come through the turnstiles to see? I think Lanham would do a decent job.

I think £10 sounds about right but if it's £13 would it really make that much difference...Not really. But then again the last time I watched National League I would have said £10 was too much lol.
