Its a Local Council thing Colin. Where I am they built a new estate,
tarmaced the rds and pavement 2 days after finishing that
the water board came and dug them all up again
Whilst I agree with your point about top class riders being able to ride on any type of track,
why wasn't the track prepared to favour the home side as it is in every other country?
We all knew we had a weakness in the gating dept and Chris Harris is a racer
so whats the problem with preparing a track accordingly?
Now that is Bu**s**t! I'd like you to come to Poole (or any other track that has juniors) and tell the likes of Brendan Johnson and Alex Macleod that they have it on a silver platter (as they pack their bikes away because another EL meeting has gone on too long and they've sat there all night for nothing).
Now lets be honest he only got up because there was a GP point up for grabs. He got up looked round realized he would be lapped and went to the centre green.
Quite agree.
Points Scored
Gate 1 50pts
Gate 2 54pts
Gate 3 15pts
Gate 4 25pts
Also noticed how wet it was. They were able to ride the meeting so I can only
assume they have a different kind wet to Kings Lynn!!
