Try the David Lloyd travel rest, I accidental clicked on it, it's cheap and not very well advertised, plus no one seems to have heard of it. If anyone needs it I have the phone number for them. -
Matt W - my dad loves American Football and I often watch it, and it really does work, my team the dolphins just pick really bad all the time! But it could work in Speedway, plus it coudl also avoid many riders being out of work.

Thank You richtea78. I can noe book time of work an book hotels. It's good that they've done two in E/bourne and two in Pool that means less driving. he he he.

thank you Mylor. Maybe they should just let the fans run the sport for a year. lol. If the Sky deal runs out next year as Mylor says then it will be interesting to see their commitment to continuing with their coverage and what conditions they impose.

The reason there is no vision is beacuse it is an impossability to have a vision where the teams change so drastically at the end of each season. You couldn't for example make a five year goal regarding teams and gp riders because of the points limit in each teams or gradign as it's called now. The unfourtune is thought that realisitcally we need the points limit or promotors with money would be able to but together really strong teams and it would get really boring. As for re-branding - I can see your point speedway isn't a partiually sexy word but if a tall blonde was to say it very sudectively wearing very little don't tell me that all the men watching the ad woudln't suddenly pay attention. (no offense) Again though a downside we are a family sport so why would we advertise using all that sex appeal? So the answer? Well I saw some impressives promo's on some of the world cup and gp's that gave me goosebumbs. Why not use them to advertise on Sky instead of repetitve shots of racing. Not only would it show viewers a ifferent side of the sport there is a high change that people would sit up and think well what's all this about then? So they watch the gp world cup regardless they like it so start watching the league coverage then they realise that there is a track near them and hey presto a new paying fan at that track. The problem is whoever it is making all the descions wants quick fix answers not long term solid soloutions to making the sport better. Wow that's long for me! Take Care everyone. xxx.

Which Gp's Are People Planning To Go To??
Sullizbabe replied to Jez's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I want to go to Denmark. I was going to go and watch the World Cup in Denmark this year but got made redundant in March (Not the best month to lose your job!) So that went out the window soI I may try for the GP this year, they noramlly do deals in the star but as I'm single I have to pay a stupid supplement fee which coats loads. Does anyone know of any great sites that does cheap deals? I'd also like to go to Poland but that may have to be 2005. We're spoilt for choice really. -

Does anyone know how much the middle tier is this year? I sat in the top tier when Ran won which was just fantastic and last year I sat in the lower tear and it was a laugh we had a row of Pols behind us and they have to be the friednliest people in the world. But the atmosphere did seem quietier, but then we were at the bottom so that may have been the reason, so this year I'm looking to sit middle tier see what it's like there. Take Care everyone. xxx. -
How do you want this years top ten to look, either realistically or if we lived in that magical perfect world? 8) 1. Rickardsson - Let him get his record. 2. Crump - Well I can't see him settling for anything else. 3. Sullivan- Live in hope but he's a fighter! 4. Dryml - Classy rider. 5. Adams - Just becuase. 6. Pedersen - Getting the confidence and consistance. 7. Hancock - If he can keep getting to these finals. 8. Nicholls - As Pedersen. 9. Protasiewicz - Has it form and doesnt seem to be losing it. 10. Loram - Because he's got the talen to do it if he want it. Okay there's how I'd like the top ten be in October. xxx.

Crumpie tantrum?
Sullizbabe replied to Bulldog's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Which is the point I was going to make. Have any of you EVER started a new job on a temp to perm basis? Or even been in a job and made a huge mistake and then dreaded the outcome? Now I don't like Jason all that much I have seen him to be rude to my dad and a few other fans a few times when there has been no reason for it, HOWEVER.... Jason Crump had a bad day at work and made a clear point that he wanted to be left and wasnt! How many of you can honestly say that you wouldn't have reacted in the same way? I know that I would have done! -
Rolling starts in Grand Prix
Sullizbabe replied to Philip Addison's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I only really got into the Gp's a few years ago and have really enjoyed the last few years coverage, however this year a number things have annoyed me. The first being the rolling starts, I can only second what has already been said. But second have you heard the sky presenters this year? They completely fail to give credit to the riders who are doing well on the night and simply focus on a few riders and it's EVERY gp! Classic example was when Sullivan was leading the final in Sweden then just before the re run they pratically said well anyone other than Ryan could win this! Now what was that all about? Has anyone else noticed this? -
My god that's really bad! I hope the American boys to ride. Does anything Hamill wan't to retire? First the GP's now the WC? Does anyone know who the English boys are for this year? xxx 8)
-
How true is that? I think that is CVS idea of 12 teams in the EL then sky would benifit, more fans on the race night maybe? or even more viewers? Even I'm sick of watching Poole Cov and Ipswich week in week out. Or maybe if sky focused on the PL it would get more intrest. Whilst on the subject of sky a positive note that a work collegue actually sat and watched four races of the Panthers V Oxford match and commented the next "That Pole who've got is really good" In reference to Pebe. A speedway Vigin last week, wanting to watch a live match the next. So sky does have it's good points. 8)
