  1. I cannot find any trains listed after the GP going to Wroclaw until gone 5 in the morning.Am i looking in the wrong place ?
  2. Best 2 options are to fly to Graz in Austria(ryanair) or Zagreb(wizzair)or even Budapest and even ljubljana. We flew to Graz for the u21 final last year, hired a car lesiurely 2-3 hours drive, stayed in hungary, only about 20 miles from Gorican.Great trip would recommend. Mileages are Graz to Gorican 102 miles Zagreb to Gorican 70 miles Budapest to Gorican 151 miles Ljubljana to Gorican 155 miles
  3. I would take what James Easter says in his advert in the Speedway star with a pinch of salt-It says the GP is a sell out, however the tickets aren`t even on sale yet-when the GP for Torun was announced an article in the star said that they were getting a new ticket sale system which would be in operation end feb/march.I`m sure the GP will sell-out but UK punters should get a good chance of getting tickets.
  4. Anyone thinking of going to Gothenburg for the GP and hasn`t bought a flight -going out from stansted to Gothenburg city with Ryanair out sat am back sun eve is £40 return all in (£50 if not paying with pre-pay mastercard). It will not get any cheaper than that.
  5. Anyone thinking of going and hasn`t booked flight suggest Wizzair out of Luton sat am and back Mon am to Wroclaw for £42 at moment-won`t get cheaper than that.Would also be able to see wroclaw v Gorzow on the Sunday in a polish league match.
  6. Maybe you can help Osn answer this question. Why is copenhagen so expensive everything seems double the price of else where-hotels,stadium tickets etc.Surely its not just the exchange rate with the british pound.
  7. At the moment i`ve booked up 6 - Leszno Prague,Copenhagen,Cardiff,Torun and Malilla. i am hoping that Tony Olsson sets his mark early because given suitable racing conditions it should be a cracking series.
  8. As it`s Australia,Sweden and a qualifer-i don`t think the poles will be too worried.
  9. The world cup 3rd place match on July 10th is now kicking off at 3pm uk time.
  10. Dont we already know that Wroclaw v Gorzow is now on the 25th April -the day after the Leszno GP (instead of the 11th)
  11. That unfortunately means nothing on the sunday after the Bydgoszcz GP
  12. As English as they come,as far as i know. Was mechanic for Per Jonsson for many years when packing in riding, and is still good friends with per today.
  13. If you sponsored the meeting you would get more than three ! ! If you cant do that you would have to know one of the riders or officals. Not even the top priced ticket gets you a pit walk-unlike Cardiff.
  14. Ive been twice and sat in section M (green) on entrance to first bend good seats but the track is so big bends 3 and 4 are a long way away.
  15. 3rd place play-off on Saturday 10th July kick-off is 20.30 which i presume is local time.
  16. Flown with Wizzair twice they are good-lots of riders use them for Poland as their monday flights are all really early which get them back into the uk in good time for monday evening matches.
  17. Tickets are already on sale thro http://www.e-ticket.pl/bz1
  18. We went this year but stayed and flew to Wroclaw, however we stayed in poznan for the Bydgoszcz GP .Poznan and Wroclaw are both similar distances from Leszno.I prefer Wroclaw out of the two towns. We sat between the start and the first bend(Grandstand A)and paid around £50. Are you thinking of hiring a car or using the train ? Are you thinking of flying with Wizzair ?
  19. Neither the GP or the Millenium stadium websites have any reference to the start time for 2010.I thought the 5pm new time worked really well this year.I hope it doesn`t rivert back to 7.00. maybe tv viewing figures were affected by the early start time.
  20. We are talking about boring GP`s here-obviously you are happy to watch the follow the leader stuff increasingly served up by ole in recent years.
  21. You could always think about flying luton to poznan with Wizzair £34 return(inculding taxes) Fri/sun I`m sure Poznan to Bydgoszcz is possible by train. As its an early flight back(6am) you could get away with 1 night in a hotel.
  22. That was Ole Olsen`s personal one which has been ripped up ! Tony Olsson`s is all together different ! I think Phil Rising`s post that Ole was intending to carry on until told by the FIM he had a different role for 2010 is mighty significant. We will know early enough Leszno and Prague will tell us (weather permitting)
  23. Cant quite follow the logic in thinking Gollob is going to be on the slide big style. He seems to be putting everything into the GP`s these days and if there is more dirt and grip around next season i think he won`t be far away.
