  1. I think there needs to be a bit of a history lesson. The FIM Europe SEC under One Sport was an open event for GP riders to ride in qualifiers and in the series. They pay a pittance to the FIME compared to the GP contract and quite rightly the GP promoters were not happy. Therefore it was agreed that the SEC winner would get a place in the GP’s( only the winner- if the winner qualifies by another route 2nd does not get in). GP riders cannot enter the qualifiers or be the series wildcards and can only stay in it if they finish in the top 5 of the series finals.- ie if Michelsen gets a GP wildcard in 2025 then he won’t be in the SEC. I think it was a fair compromise and leaves the SEC as the secondary competition albeit with a route to the GP. I also think no one can complain about top 4 in Challenge getting into GP especially as GP is over when it takes place so all 16 riders know that a quarter of them will be GP riders in 2025.

  9. Looks as if Premier Sport are sticking 2 fingers up to their Speedway subscribers( i ditched them years ago !!) as the 2nd leg of the final is not on live but at 11.30pm on Premier 2 on Tuesday.

  11. Just seen Belle Vue pricing- just a £1 extra on normal league match pricing, which seems fair although it’s not cheap to start with.
