  1. Nasty crash for Gomolski in heat 2 in kumla- his bike seized on the last bend throwing him onto the track- bit sore but seems ok
  2. Bookmakers bet 365 think Vastervik win by 16 and Kumla to lose at home by 2
  3. Good news last week- Bad news this week. Kumla v Dackarna will be by far the better match.
  4. Eurosport UK have come up trumps again for the coverage of the 1st round of the finals on Saturday July 13th from Gustrow Germany. Meeting starts at 6pm UK time with Eurosport Poland showing complete match live. Eurosport 2 uk go on air LIVE at 19.45 just in time for about heat 17 !!!!!!
  5. Kumla Indianerna using R/R for the injured Pepe Protasiewicz. all can take a ride bar Bjerre.
  6. New signing Adrian Gala replaces Klindt tonight for Lejonen. No word from Vastervik on who is replacing Jack Holder this evening.
  7. I should imagine it was an ACU/SCB test- this is taken from the 2019 rule book WORLD ANTI-DOPING AGENCY (WADA) The ACU (SCB) has adopted the WADA Code (www.wada-ama.org) under the auspices of the UK AntiDoping in Sport body (UKAD) and have granted jurisdiction in all cases arising under these WADA antidoping rules to the UKAD’s National Anti-Doping Agency including the Case management. UKAD Rules, Policies and Codes, including up to date Prohibition Lists are available on www.ukad.org.uk/resources/documents. To establish the status of “over the counter" and "prescription only" medicine visit the website www.globaldro.co.uk SCB ALCOHOL and DRUG TESTING In addition to Testing carried out by UKAD, which will fall under the scope of WADA, The SCB, pursuant to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, that places a duty of care for Workplace health, safety and welfare, the SCB may order Drug and/or Alcohol Testing to take place before, during or after a Meeting of any Officials or riders. These tests (and the subsequent results and penalties) do not fall under the scope of the WADA. NB. Tests conducted by a UKAD DCO, under the scope of the WADA regulations will differ from those listed below and the DCO (Doping Control Officer (s) will explain the full approved procedure. TESTING PROCEDURES Riders and Officials may be balloted, nominated or selected for testing. These persons will be notified of a time and place to report to and may be accompanied by one other person. They will be required to prove identification by showing an acceptable document (Passport, Driving Licence (that includes a photo), an FMN Competition Licence or SCB Registration/ Licence. Person(s) conducting these tests, hereinafter referred to as the Testing Official, may be either the Meeting Referee, another SCB licensed Official specifically appointed by the SCB for this purpose or a representative of an SCB approved 3 rd Party Organisation. A suitable area, well away from the Pits Area, to avoid any possible influence of Methanol is recommended as a place to carry out the tests. For tests conducted by a UKAD DCO then the Officer (s) will explain the full procedure. Testing carried out by an SCB Official or nominated 3 rd Party will adhere to the following procedures; The Rider / Official will choose a sealed Breath test instrument ‘mouthpiece’ and drugs testing ‘device’ and under the direction of the Testing Official, will supply either or both: a) a sufficient quantity of breath to ensure that an Alcohol Test reading can be taken; repeating as necessary until such time as sufficient breath is provided, and/or b) the appropriate quantity of urine or saliva to enable the drug screening device to perform the test. Upon completion of the initial ‘screening’ test(s), the Rider / Official will be notified of the Result. If a breath alcohol test of anything but ‘0’, a second breath alcohol test will be required from the Rider / Official 15 minutes after the completion of the first test. If the second breath test result is above a reading of ‘4 µg/100ml’ (micrograms of alcohol per one hundred millilitres of breath), the Rider / Official will be immediately disqualified from the Meeting and reported to the SCB Co-ordinator. A saliva or urine alcohol test may also be used. If a drugs screening result displays ‘non-negative’, the same sample will be screened within a second device. If the second result is also ‘non-negative’, the sample will be packaged under Chain of Custody conditions and sent to the accredited Laboratory for Confirmatory Analysis. The Rider / Official will be immediately disqualified from the Meeting and reported to the SCB Co-ordinator. If the second screening result displays a ‘negative’ result, the same sample will be screened within a third device, the outcome of the third screening result will be final. If negative, no further action is required, if The Speedway Regulations 63 ‘non-negative the sample will be packaged under Chain of Custody conditions and sent to the accredited Laboratory for Confirmatory Analysis. The Rider / Official will be immediately disqualified from the Meeting and reported to the SCB Co-ordinator. In addition to the penalties outlined in these Regulations, the SCB may order further testing, at the defendant’s own expense. A Rider or Official who refuses to undertake testing shall automatically be disqualified from the Meeting and reported to the SCB Co-ordinator.
  8. Fair play to Masarna who got a draw at home to high flying Vastervik- however the away side were poor and the Avesta side will be kicking themselves that they didn`t collect the win. 1796 was the crowd figure. Smolinski rode well for 2 heat wins mid-match but faded. lindback top scored for Masarna with 12. Pedersen and Ljung were the top scorers for the visitors. Kildemand on a 5-1 in the crucial heat 14 let Nilsson catch him right on the line.
  9. Northern Premier League - Northern Premier League North West Division
  10. He was a numpty for taking something that had Co-codamol(traces as per the BSPA statement) as a ingredient (not the correct word but can`t think of right word). no one else to blame other than him- are you saying he should sue the SCB for loss of earnings ?
  11. Surely it`s the responsibility of any professional sports person not to take any medicine whilst competing without checking whether it is safe and legal to do so. There was only one numpty and that was Howarth.
  12. Not sure why Lejonen have named Klindt for tomorrow- although i`m not 100% sure if they can use R/R for a rider riding elsewhere. They have dropped and released Rohan Tungate and signed Adrian Gala which in my view hardly strengthens them !!! Edit Vastervik have also named Jack Holder for tomorrow.
  13. There is no panic at all- but it would be nice that we don`t record BT sport 1 and then find that because they had the wrong time they have had to switch to another channel. You might just think that if they are advertising it as live, then they know what time the meeting is even if it`s in darkest Russia !!
  14. Best crowd of the night turned up in Eskiltuna 3229. The track looked good for heat 1 and rode well however from then on it caused big problems for the riders until the end- some could ride it, others really struggled to get round and the racing suffered as a result. Lebedevs was the star rider with 13 paid 14 from his 5 rides.
  15. A cracking match in Motala in front of 1483. Vetlanda always looked in control although it took a from the back win by the quickly improving Kubera in heat 15 to secure the points. kurtz had quite a big off in heat 13 but seemed ok. Really good couple of races between Michelsen and Zmarzlik which resulted in 1 win each. NKI did his Piraterna team no good at all by getting excluded in heat 13 for delaying the start in a re-run race where there was just 1 Vetlanda rider.
  16. Thursday`s line-ups Kumla Indianera v Dackarna- live on freesports 6pm KUMLA INDIANERNA 1 K Bjerre 2 Protaseiewcz 3 C Holder 4 Thomsen 5 milik 6 Andersson 7 L Lindgren DACKARNA 1 Janowski 2 Piotr Pawlicki 3 Berntzon 4 Jakobsen 5 Dudek 6 Gomolski 7 Thorssell Vastervik v Lejonen VASTERVIK 1 Ljung 2 J Holder- surely riding for Poole !! 3 Smektala 4 Kildemand 5 Pedersen 6 Karlsson 7 Bech LEJONEN 1 Hampel 2 Lahti 3 Klindt- surely riding for Poole !! 4 Woryna 5 Drabik 6 Bjorling 7 Wolbert
  17. And proved me right not a great crowd for Dackarna`s standard 2226- not the best meeting i have seen from Malilla but entertaining nevertheless. Probably the race of the night was in heat 9 when Doyle beat Dudek from the back.
