As regards the last line- the someone is already there "Sweden" and Thursday`s. Before anyone says" but we have priority" if anyone thinks that Doyle, Fricke Lambert ete etc will be happy missing a Swedish Thursday league match because they are riding here( for half the money) they they don`t know the modern Speedway rider very well !!!

Just thinking about it, that almost certainly means GP tickets won’t go on sale until after the start of the Extraleague when all the season tickets they are likely to have sold will have been.

I have just worked out that the season ticket for the 7 home matches - adult price goes from the cheapest seats at £6 per match to the top price £13 per match(£8.50 and £10 in between)

From the SEC website " Spots for upcoming year were secured by the TOP 5 from 2018: Leon Madsen, Jarosław Hampel, Robert Lambert, Mikkel Michelsen and Antonio Lindbaeck. Five another spots are awaiting for those, who will take part in qualifying rounds to this elite series. Next to them, we have "wild cards" given by the organizers. Hosts of the SEC 2019 finals will be announced in January."

No news yet on the GP tickets, however Wroclaw season tickets(Extraleague) have just gone on sale and one bonus for a 2019 season ticket holder is they are guaranteed their seat for the play-offs and the GP( not included in the price).Still don`t think the GP tickets will go on sale this year.

Did anyone see the comment from THJ in this week`s Star that he`s only riding in Poland and GB in 2019. Kings lynn maybe ??

British Premiership promoters have already stated that they have priority on Monday`s and Thursday`s in 2019.

It`s all very well having priority on Thursday`s but as i posted on the Swindon thread it`s going to need a carefully worked out Premiership fixture list not to pi$$ the riders off who ride Sweden and GB. It seems like the Swedish teams have 4/5 Thursday dates(see edit below). It is generally accepted that Swedish pay rates are around double the UK so riders will not be happy missing Swedish league matches !! Riders that could be effected are Thorssell Doyle Lambert Fricke J Holder Masters Batchelor Kurtz Woryna Klindt Tungate NKI Bjerre Edit just checked the teams Thursday`s matches and they are all over the place !!! 2 Smederna and Vastervik 4 Masarna,Indianerna,Rospiggarna, Vetlanda and Dackarna 5 Piraterna and Lejonen

If the Premiership teams want to pi$$ the riders off then arrange the meetings when they would like to be in Sweden !!!!!

Sweden might ok the use of R/R for riders riding Premiership on a Thursday.

There is going to have to be some clever fixture planning in the Premiership in 2019- GB has priority over Sweden on Thursdays. Take Jason Doyle as an example, Rospiggarna have 4 Thursday fixtures - can’t imagine he will be happy missing any of those matches because he is riding Premiership that night for about half the money(approx).
