  7. Obviously i agree with the facility on race day- however this ruling can only have come from the ACU and in my opinion the SCB/BSPA should have told them in no uncertain terms that the SPEEDWAY rule book covers LONGTRACK RACING ADEQUATELY and to keep there nose out. If i`m completely wrong with that assumption then it would be good if the BSPA/SCB clarified it once and for all. ps it was David Howe and not Hall- it was him some years ago.
  8. Where is this coming from- Torun haven`t ridden since last Sunday- he had a crash in heat 9 when Walasek knocked him off but he got up and rode again.
  9. I`ve not slipped up at all- you tried the same when it happened before with Richard Hall. There is ONE rule about Longtrack racing in the SPEEDWAY REGS and that rule is there for a reason- which i hope even you can understand that riders cannot have a facility for any day other than the day of the meeting. That rule cannot be over ruled.
  10. That`s an interesting question the rule as quoted has not changed for years however if one went back 5/6 years the " Longtrack championship duty" actually meant the final rounds(normally 4 or 5) there was definitely no facility for anyone missing the qualification rounds the challenge the team final Why ,when and how it changed i cannot answer but it most certainly has.
  11. Poland v Rest of the World Slaski stadium Chorzow Saturday 1st September
  12. Actually the rule says that you DON’T get a facility for practice day- which on occasions can be the day before the meeting day- As you have rightly said practice and event are today.
  13. Let`s get this straight- Shanes has never been on the continent grasstracking/longtracking the day after fulfilling a British commitment ? Obviously his kit for Morizes would go by road and he would have flown out by himself this morning. Funnily enough professional speedway riders are doing that day in day out !!
  14. He can only have been practising- because he certainly wasn`t in a meeting.
  15. I`m pretty sure i actually know the reason and it`s all about outside influences sticking their unwanted noses into Speedway`s business and the SCB/BSPA not having the guts to do anything about it.
  16. But it didn`t have to be a NL rider- Shanes didn`t need to take the bikes he would have ridden tonight to ride in France tomorrow did he ? he doesn`t need to be with his team taking the longtrack bikes to Morizes does he ? He could have been in a Birmingham airport hotel by 11.30pm and had a decent few hours sleep before catching the 6.55am flight. and by my reckoning would have been at the track at least 2 hours before practice starts.
