  1. We saw that- I think it was Morgan Andersson.
  2. I need to quote the rule again from the FIM regs "FMN’s shall nominate their complete Team (Including host FMN), with each Rider’s starting number on the official SWC Team declaration form, no later than 7 days before the first Event 1 of the SWC Final Tournament. The names and composition of the declared teams will remain confidential and must not be disclosed by the FMN or their representatives to the media or any other party until announced by FIM or the SWC Promoter FMN’s may nominate a U21 Rider who is the same nationality as FMN. This rider will be allocated starting number 5, allowed to practice and will be a Reserve, permitted to take the place of a rider 1-4 at any time during the meeting. The nomination and use of an U21 Rider is not compulsory. The U21 reserve will be entitled to be used in a maximum of 5 heats (Including heats 17-20) plus one additional heat as a Tactical Substitute or Tactical Joker. If replacing the injured Rider in the rerun of a heat, the U21 Rider will also assume the status of the replaced Rider (ie. programmed ride, Tactical Joker or Tactical Substitute). The Team composition and the Rider’s starting numbers for each event shall be the same 4 or 5 riders that were entered on the SWC team declaration form, No changes to any declared Teams or starting numbers will be permitted throughout the SWC except in the case of injury or illness, supported by a Medical Certificate where necessary, and approved by the International Jury. Where the International Jury approves such changes, the replacement Rider will occupy the original Rider’s place in the nominated Team. The International Jury will issue a list, including the Team compositions and the draw colour, as soon as possible after the completion of the previous event. (See Art. 078.3.5)" The relevant bit is that the replacement rider lines up in the place of the replaced rider.
  3. If i am right that Morris rode at 3 on Saturday ? Then that is where Masters has to ride
  4. It would be a farce because the refs would just hold the tapes even longer trying to catch them- in turn more exclusions and therefore delays
  5. Don`t forget the prize money is cr&p- hard enough splitting it between 5 let alone 7 !!!!!
  6. The "king William" at Hailey(Ipsden) - 2miles from where i live.
  7. Yes i`m against riders moving -if allowed it would soon become a farce !!!
  8. They just need to do what they do in Poland- very very few false starts why ?? because the start marshall is continually checking with the ref that he is happy with how they line up- all 4 riders have to have the front wheel right on the tapes and if anyone moves back the start marshall is told by the ref to see to the rider !! One other thing they are hot on over there is that the rider on gate 4 must line up straight- not at an angle pointing to the inside. These 2 things means the starts are more often than not fair.

  10. Now I understand - thanks. I can still retain my title !!!!!!!
  11. Even worse for the Swedes- they have even less young talent than the Danes
  12. Thanks- sorry to be pedantic but it can`t have been just 7 and 9 round the wrong way as I had both Madsen and NKI as my two- somewhere they added to 13 instead of 15 ?
  13. You won`t because there wasn`t one. 1 Meeting in Riga on June 25th - Latvia, France, Germany and Italy from the 2017 world cup regs 78.8.5 FIM Speedway World Cup Qualifying System The SWC Final Tournament Format may change for the following year and if so, will be reflected in the Qualification System where necessary. 16. I would describe it as a " TV competition " where artificial levelling is the order of the day to create an exciting event !! Is Speedway any different to lets say Cricket`s fielding restrictions in one day comp`s or Touring cars ballast in cars. I`m sure there are many more.
  17. Robbie can you check my score- pretty sure I scored 77 tonight plus 70 = 147 thanks
  18. I have had to read the rules again because a couple of years ago they stopped "jokers in heats 17-20. This year they have also stopped "tactical substitutes " as well in Heats 17-20- I didn`t realise that !!!!
