  1. Well done Janusz. And KK is flying for Monday! Mr GP man- you need Kolodziej!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye all. Good entertainment and on to tomorrow. Alan.
  2. Totally agree. And Janusz would grace the GPs. May the best man win
  3. And Tomasz might have been in that carnage in heat 2. Wise decision to give it a miss. Regards Mateusz and welcome back from your holiday. Alan
  4. I'd rather be 14 up than the other way around! In speedway though nothing is a stone cold certainty. If i were the Bees i would forget about the lead and treat it as a one-off and hopefully ride out of their socks! We shall see. This is a good final and could come down to a run-ff with KK and Janusz. Best. Alan
  5. Don't forget Koldziej mate. Probably between the two of them. If he gates like that on Monday we could makeit.! Regards. Alan.
  6. And a nice interview, though i have no idea what he said!! Alan.
  7. He was certainly not disgraced in that one. Rode very well Pawel.
  8. Spot on, my friend. 8 times Polish Champion i think. He has bigger fish to fry next Saturday in Italy. What a shame. That's a nasty long-term injury.
  9. Morning Pawel and good luck to Maciej Kuciapa. Great crowd and good weather. Enjoy. Alan.
  10. Echo that one mate. Nice day, nice crowd. Good racing and NO injuries. Alan
  11. The "excuse" has apparently been nominated as this years Polish entry for the Nobel Prize for fiction. Hee hee. Alan Any news on the weather for today and tomorrow. Are we looking good for both days?
  12. HenryW, I was TOTALLY joking saying i was shocked and surpised. (English irony). I wasn't surprised he rode in Sweden on Tuesday , just at how hard he tried to pass Greg. No one would have remembered who won that heat 16 in years to come, but everyone will know who the 2010 World Champion was. And i hope it is Tomasz Gollob. He thoroughly deserves it and time is not on his side. Tomorrow should still be a very enjoyable meeting and on his own track the man replacing Tomasz could spring a surprise. We shall see. Kindest regards. Alan.
  13. What a shocker. I'm stunned! Seriously, can you really blame him on the verge of fulfilling every riders lifetime ambition? I think we would all do the same. Alan.
  14. Filling in again for this week only for our regular poster, Racers and Royals, who is away. Betard Wroclaw v Unibax Torun followed by Falubaz Zielona Gora v Unia Leszno First match is at 3pm UK time. Second follows at 5pm UK time http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport Team line-ups and heat details http:/live.sportowefakty.pl/ekstraliga.htm A bumper weekend of thrills from Poland and let us hope the weather is kind. Regards to all. Alan.
  15. Or as they call him on TV "Crease Bombare Harrize" I love it! Regards. Alan.
  16. He frightened the life out of me chasing Greg Hancock on Tuesday in Sweden. I kept yelling " You're so nearly World Champion, slow down". But he's a racer. I'd bet he will ride out of pride, but there is a lot of flu about in Poland!!!!! Best Wishes. Alan.
  17. Always nice to see some of the lesser lights earning their chance in the spotlight. Maciej is a new one to me but it adds to the interest knowing he is "your man". Looking forward to this bumper Polish weekend. Kindest regards. Alan.
  18. Whoops, got the link wrong! http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?-id=motorsport Sorry about that (old age) Alan
  19. I am stepping into big shoes in posting this, but our friend Racers and Royals is away this weekend, so i said i would fill in. The Final is at Zielona Gora and the start time is 4pm UK time. The line-up is as follows. Robert Kosciecha Janusz Kolodziej Krzystof Jablonski Jaroslaw Hampel Tomasz Gollob Tomasz Gapinski Mateusz Szczepaniak Krzystof Buczkowski Adrian Miedzinski Maciej Kuciapa Piotr Protasiewicz Sebastian Ulamek Damian Balinski Krzysztof Kasprzak Dawid Stachyra Michal Szczepaniak Res. Daniel Jeleniewski Rafal Dobrucki The meeting is honouring a man who a few of the older Coventry fans will recall, Henryk Zyto, who rode for the Bees in 1960 and won the Brandonapolis. His son is the team manager of Zielona Gora and i am sure he will be a proud man as his dad is introduced. The link is http://www. soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?-id=motorsport Again, at 4pm. UK time. Regards. Alan.
