Rye should be one of the easiest tracks in the country to promote. A massive untapped potential fan base all across Hertfordshire. I live around twenty minutes from Hoddesdon and have never seen so much as a leaflet locally.
In the right hands, someone like Jonathan Chapman for example Rye could be the best supported club in the country.
Awful meeting, GP series is tired blah blah blah.
Yes Saturday wasn't the best but on the whole the racing has been first class the season. It's shaping up to be the most exciting finish to a season for ages.
So the riders don't like it the fans don't like it and the race director doesn't like it.
Why on earth are they going back next year? A GP for the sake of having a GP
