  1. This thread is fascinating.
  2. Bit of a half baked scheme if you ask me....
  3. Can't for the life of me remember what they played at Wimbledon....
  4. Correct, the original plan was for Ian Perkin to promote speedway at Central Park. This plan was scuppered by a current promoter who told Cearns to run it himself. The same promoter then popped up on Cearns subsequent planning application.
  5. Mean spirited? Possibly but do we really want such a speedway snob running a team? Lets not forget many of todays riders came up from "the lowest level" I wonder if todays National League level riders would want to ride for a man who has such a low opinion of them. Also for someone that "loves Wimbledon" so much I didn't see him anywhere durinbg the barren years or indeed supporting us when we were kicked out.
  6. It all depends which league Uncle Len tells him to run in.
  7. No idea, Cearns comments are a complete and utter disgrace. I hope his bid fails at Central Park.
  8. Which of course isn't a certainty even if the FA win the bid. But knowing FIFA.....
  9. More importantly how many other tracks actually wanted to host the event?
  10. Shame no Denmark, but should be a cracking meeting IMO.
  11. Squirel nutcase, no wonder he's banging her mum.....
  12. Get to Poland mate, you'll never bother with farcediff again.
  13. Tai has huge support from Rye House and Scunny. His support is only likely to increase especially with whats happening with his poor Dad.
  14. Thank goodness the track is too flat and narrow IMO. Bydgoszcz or Leszno for me.
  15. Tai top 4 in the World? Not next season, have you ever seen him ride anywhere other than England? If he finishes in the top 10 that will be a massive achievement. It will certainly be interesting seeing how he gets on. The choice of Harris is a shocker.
  16. Ah bless, you were incontinent all those years ago.
