Must say for the 1st meeting of the season.. that's been the best start for a while... good Buzz in the crowd... genuine attempt to give the fans a meeting and good value for money... chance to attract the kids with the freebie fingers. Team wise... good start with room for improvement. Be more of a test next week against Newcastle but I've a feeling we're in for an entertaining season

Like to think we can win this one but I'm taking nothing for granted with it being our 1st meeting. Nice that there will be a full coach from Berwick going though... good support from the off

Our promotion, with the aid of the consortium, are definitely turning it round. Excellent to see a bus being offered for opening away meeting.. A meeting I firmly believe we can win!

We may not have a stand out rider in our 1-7 but I'd still be happy with a pairing of TJ and Seb for example going into heat 13 and 15... Seb in particular can perform when needed on the big occasions.. I don't think that group is clear cut!

TJ, Liam and Kev obviously Whatever happens, to have our team finalised by the middle of November (a team that IMO that resembles 2014), a sound team manager and a new consortium in place... it's all so much more positive once again

Riders want to ride for our because they know where the money is... can't blame 'em... I'd be there like a shot if I was a rider of any decent standard and they offered me a team spot! Just sucks a bit when you know a rider may have been coming to you and has been poached by the smell of the green stuff.. money I do mean... nothing else

You get arses everywhere. .. must admit, I've never been back to Workington since that day either though... proved they've got a massive bunch of scummy fans over there! The rowdy ones at Newcastle are timid and laughable compared to how the Comet fans were!

With Matty and hopefully Liam to be confirmed, we've got one of the stronger reserve pairings in the PL.
