If there wasn't an air fence he'd still be going straight on now! His mentality is to stop others and if he hadn't been so focussed on doing so and turned left sooner he'd already moved Holder out far enough and Hancock at the same time. I'm not saying he should have turned left immediately on bend one, I'm saying that once he'd moved them out if he'd turned left sooner he'd already done enough damage.

Thought that was a pretty disappointing GP with little passing and effectively only 3 riders in each race with gate 1 being a graveyard.

Pearson is a joke. Similar circumstances last Grand Prix and he says Harris shouldn't have been excluded!

A superb thread with reasoned arguments on both sides. I find it ironic that if things had been the other way around, i.e. Pedersen had come off after Harris had hit him, there would have been a lot less discussion as it's what some have come to expect of NP.

Where does it say in the rules that a rider is obliged to stay on when hit?
