I get what your saying but team riding doesn't mean slowing riders down causing a dangerous situation. Each to there own tho. Also , I actually think first and fourth is better than second and third

I know Lisa but these bikes are so unpredictable. I can just see a bad smash happening one day and then it'll be why did we allow this. I just think the clues in the name, speedway racing. I think back in the day before we had rocket ships it may have not been so dangerous. Each to there own tho, hopefully il never be proved right

I seem to be in the minority but one day there'll be carnage with this scoring system. I'm all for team riding but slowing these bikes down is asking for trouble. Also the final was a farce however if it was normal scoring with a 3-3 going to the team who wins the heat Danny King could have won the heat giving the title to Poole whereas last night was pointless once Steve Worrall was out

Between 98 and 2009 I regularly used to come home saying best meeting ever. Then the following week was even better. The standard of second strings and reserves was much higher then not forgetting more genuine number ones. Just showed last night the track can produce good racing with better riders

Sorry to go off track re Workington but maybe THJ or someone can answer. What level of rider are professional only over here. I.E championship reserves, heat leaders? I heard even some NDL just ride speedway with no other jobs. Surely this can't continue with the current fan base. I'd have thought only top league should be professional and maybe championship No 1s . Be interesting to know
