Seems to be a few who stopped going about then, I stopped early 80s when the Heathens were thumping everyone, went to a few thru the late 80s and 90s and picked it back up at Monmore late 90s to 2010 with Wolves till we came back then more or less just followed us with the occasional Wolves meeting. Followed both teams last couple of years but looks like back to being just a wolf next season. Lol

Agreed I think we forget how close Scott got to the very top for a few seasons along with Bomber. Never going to be World Champs I suppose but great careers

I tried explaining this meeting to a mate in the pub last night, he just thought I was talking rubbish and the beer was stronger than usual

I couldn't really say gustix but we sat in the bar and there were plenty of empty tables. Also looking down to outside there didn't seem too many. I didn't get there till about 7.15 and there was no queue to get in and cars were still getting on the car park. I remember a few years ago when we rode at Brum there was long queues from 7 onwards for some meetings. Sorry can't give a guesstimate for last meeting but it would be a wild guess

Crowd for the last meeting was very poor but even at Monmore although still very good especially for National League seems to me to be down on previous years. Then again I'd imagine that's the same at most tracks

Phil, how many extra subscriptions would make a big difference. EG would say an extra 100 regulars per year. Just thinking if you said 20 would be a massive difference it might get some on here who used to subscribe to take one out again. Tbh it's got me thinking about doing it
