I think that is a very good point,and the money from Sky was a bit like a drug to the EL, summed up by reading Patchets constant digs at the Sky team on Twitter--silly man

But many turn up for the play offs..so in brings the droves back Speedway is unfair a lot of the time,crap tracks...good tracks...get done by guests......re can work for some and not others, etc etc I've seen two play offs recently at Scunny....Saints MIldenhall in 2011, quite brilliant entertainment.....and last year against Somerset,right down to the last few metres of the last lap of the last race....can you get better??

Seem a big shame that the lads points have helped a fine Somerset team make the play-offs yet now he will take no part in what I think will be a league winning season for them

And from what I have seen most of the refs enjoy a bit of banter with him also,its is rumoured that a certain female ref opened the window in the refs box and gave him the "finger" after his spec savers comments--all a good laugh either way

Just looked at the averages and Stefan is 4.90...didn't realise that.....got to be the only kid in history to be dropped for putting nearly two points on his average,Birks and Worrall etc I don't think did that in their first year of PL racing

if that is the case and it seem it is then its shocking,the lad has done well this year and I think this is bloody harsh on him,Seems the number 1 can influence teams as well as rain offs now.....

I think he was allowed to stay in because something happened with the red lights,they came on or something like that when they shouldn't have

The Lions have always done very well at the EWR and looks like you will need to win to make the Playoff,which should really fire them up,also expect good support to travel to support them,it will be close no doubt

I saw him all changed and ready to go in pits towards end of meeting then he vanished...not sure if he had a ride
