The play offs keep the season alive, not just in speedway but in all sports..just look at attendances when there is something to play for.

Fair point Orion, maybe F1 has leadership and direction and Speedway has the BSPA....However I've seen more Follow your leader meetings at Owlerton since they decided to make the track slick, there used to be loads more passing and I'm only talking a few years ago....

H and J is a good show, its usually Andy Jacobs who says first to bend 1 wins,and I'm afraid thats what seems to happen in a lot of meetings, many a time I've watched an Elite league meeting and remarked that any casual watchers will have switched off because of the boring nature of the "racing"....So called racing.
