I'm sure your guys promotion have something up their sleeves. Maybe to balance out the top 5 could vissing be back? Assuming that Doyle and Morris are defo back; these two are arguably the best top two that any team will manage to fit in their side. I'm surprised Alex has been moved on as the boy always impressed me, but who knows. You have a good promotion so I'm sure it will be good

I think people forget in speedway that riders ultimately decide their destination. Liam has grown up around the berwick shale; so the first instinct would tell you the best fit would be the bandits. But things changed slightly tail end of last season he picked up meetings for Edinburgh and became a massive cog in the monarchs machine. He got to be in the pits with riders like Craig cook. He rode in a playoff final. He grew up, he had a win and a paid win in the reserve race in a PL final, could this draw the boy to Armadale if that chance was offered. Nobody on here knows for sure, only the boy and those round him do. He will be a success wherever he ends up I'm certain

Why have you put a question mark on the end of a comment? It doesn't turn it into a question. You know fine well what the statement made means. Jog on....

I have my visits to Redcar. All thoroughly decent folks I met there. Tully to Redcar?

Morris and Doyle surely now

Top quality top 5; reserves need to step up, but will be a match for any team this year

Bbc Sports Personality Of The Year

It's a farce he's not on the short list. He will get a ten second mention in the show; pathetic. Tai is a world champion; to stick Ian Bell for example for me doesn't stack up. Bell had a good ashes. Fair enough but over the year who's sporting achievement is better? -
Kerr will go far in this sport and could be the next Craig Cook. Boy is quality and I'm not a Newcastle fan

Ringeood surely deserves another turn

1. Craig Cook (best rider in the league) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Steve Worrall (steal on 3points) Add Sam Masters and Max Fricke; think they both have to be shoe ins. Possibilities: Derek brings to much in terms of leadership not to be in. I am open with the the next two; will be a good title challenging side on paper

I like the look of this side. Will be thee or thereabouts

I would tend to agree mate. But you never know in our fine sport and a playoff lottery! -

Bear in monarchs have won at Sheffield and pushed Leicester and Somerset close on their own patches. Berwick have not wiped the floor with monarchs at home once this year, monarchs are full of guys who ride well on their day down there. Grievesy replicated roughly what cook would have scored and had Tabaka been fit monarchs would be even stronger. Edinburgh are no pushovers, and could if we get our guys on track be contenders come the play offs of they can sneak in. Yes Berwick do miss a rider of Ashworths class and Seb can't be a one man team. But this current Berwick team are not like teams of old they ate built to do well home and away so the compromise is that they won't be as strong at home and took my hits never showed up for bandits last night! -

To Coin a football term the old head kicked in. James seemed to just know where Seb was going and seemed to cover every move. As I say I liked the enthusiasm he gave in the monarchs cause. As I say I wrote on this forum perhaps questioning James this year a bit, I don't mind being proved wrong and James really excelled the past two nights. -

Every time I go to north Berwick, spend a power of cash in their shop! But yeah the way Berwick are being run and marketed can only breed sustained success -

Financially I guess reduced admission is not always the best idea. We were always coming down regardless, but the reduced admission probably meant we ended up spending more inside on various bits and pieces and as I say the Berwick promotion never fail to impress me. It's always good to get a result when you travel but I think the whole package that Berwick speedway offers fans is very positive. -

We had a great day. Berwick promotion were spot and and marketed meeting well great value offered by them and truly grateful from a fans perspective. Alden winding it up behind James in heat 13 and James covering every move was speedway racing at its very best! -

James Grieves was phenomenal tonight. Riding with craft and experience in heat 13 to cover every move a fast seb alden could make. A truly great guest performance and James reaction after heat 15 was great truly showed he was fully at it for the monarchs cause tonight. I questioned James performances earlier in the season but seeing him in full flight tonight made me eat those words top top guest. Monarchs were solid throughout. Helfer got a great paid win in heat 14 and was unlucky in heat 8 when he gated well and race was stopped. Monarchs did well when they didn't hit the front of filling the minor positions. Heats 12-14 was where we turned the screw starting with theo winning heat 12, James holding firm in 13 and mr monarchs bringing it home with marcel in heat 14. Derek was great, brave and solid. For the bandits alden was always fast and even when behind was never out of it, carrying the fight on his own at times. Dyer was solid and aspergen never stopped trying. For me Kus was pathetic if he wasn't in contention after the second bend the toys came out the pram. No back up for the bandits race winners. Too few heat advantages. But happy drive north for me. Well done monarchs. Great performance. Special mention to Andy after week he had had. Solid tonight, true second heat leader tonight. -
From a monarchs fan I thought rusty looked the best he had done in years. What a shame but life is bigger than sport and respect to the guy for making such lets face it a life changing decision. Lots of guys of there but none with the club at heart in the way rusty did. Few names to chuck in I agree legault, kalle katajisto few examples

I don't understand where all the negativity about Leicester is coming from. The set up of the club is great from the point of view of a visiting fan. It takes a hell of a lot to do what mr h has done. Honestly it's the clubs second season back. I think as I say consulting an Alan Bridget type figure would be great

Amazing stadium, gret location, great club, potentially massive. On my visits the track seems to suffer from being massively inconsistent and as previously stated a gaters paradise. I don't think it's a massive mountain to climb in terms of sorting things out. Look at least this proud club is back I think that maybe consulting someone of the ilk of Alan Bridget about what advice he could give may help. It won't solve the problems, but it's about gradual evolution of the club. I not saying doc could sort all the issues but his track record at track preparation speaks for itself and can only have beneficial input I would say.
