  1. He's atrocious around brough. He wouldn't improve the team at all and he's too inconsistent as proved by his last spell with Scunthorpe I think.
  2. When do the new averages come out? I thought they used to be released at the end of every month or have they changed?
  3. The way our team was built if any of the top 5 have an off day it puts huge pressure on the reserves. Hopwood done ok though but like tonight if any half decent reserves come up here they will fill there boots. A very good meeting I thought although shame we couldn't get the win after doing a good job at Peterborough the previous night. Very impressed with Erik Riss tonight
  4. I'd personally go after Jack Thomas if he would come
  5. Could Shanes not be tempted to do the championship? Wouldn't he come in on a 2? Then just try and replace Covatti?
  6. How many comebacks has benji compton had.... be lucky to see the season out before he gets bored or whatever and decides to retire again
  7. Like he done well at reserve for Berwick?
  8. Couldn't agree more I seen him at Newcastle a few seasons back when he rode for Scunthorpe he was absolutely pathetic. He should still add a point plus to his average though considering some of the riders he'll be up against
  9. Yeah it was more in reference to what Lindback came in on last season to be honest.
  10. He should come in on a 7 like Lindback did it's only fair right?
  11. Wells is always generally pushing a 8 point average whereas LL is usually low 7, that makes Wells better surely? I get what you say though last season was LL most consistent season so credit for that. It doesn't matter if LL had the higher actual average does it because the rolling ones are the ones used for team building.
  12. If you look at LL his averages from 2013 onwards are as follows 7.28,7.12,7.05,7.69 Compare that to RW 7.81,6.49,8.86,7.92 it's quite clear who's the better rider RW apart from one poor year his average has always been upwards of 7.50 whereas LL his average stays pretty much the same old so I would say LL has reached his peak. He'll be a very good second string but a poor heat leader imo
  13. Couldn't agree more some of his away scores since he's been with us have been well pathetic for the experience he has. He'll always be a very good second string but a poor heat leader imo, but to be fair to him he was very consistent on the whole this season. But I wouldn't have him back time to move on.
  14. I don't want him back, personally think he's reached his level and is as good as he's going to get
  15. You'll get lynched off a few people on here for having anything bad to say about LL haha
  16. If that's the team then we'd need to get a decent 2 pointer at reserve with Phillips otherwise that would place loads of pressure on the top 5. I'd be happy to see Wells here he's always good around brough and is very reliable away from home.
  17. If that is the team then surely it doesn't make any sense why there was all the fuss of signing Kus as an asset last season?
  18. That team wouldn't fit? So do any riders get reductions for it too fit?
