Sgp Wildcards 2018
noggin replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Can't see Holder getting anywhere near top 10 next season, this years top 9 were way clear, add in Hancock and Shamek, definitely last chance saloon, better hope monstrous Joe sorts out his equipment. -

All teams made changes, Swindon's worked, Rye nearly worked, that's the risk you take if you wish to be successful. -

Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

Everyone had a giggle when we took both Doyle and Ellis on bad averages, pretty much having us relegated, we weathered the storm and like every other team had the option to make changes within the rules, Musielak was available to anyone, Swindon took a chance to keep their season going. -
What is PK average?
-
Wasn't this year Doyle's second, which the club honoured despite his high average, Tobi needs to be fitted in IMO.

Highly enjoyable those years in div2 were. -
The only language to confuse the Babel fish lol

Anyone would think they're building on a swamp or something, more stalling by the serial stadium closer.
-
The play offs are great if you're in them, but what about the other teams whose seasons could end with nearly 2 months of the season left, perhaps they could race for the craven shield for example, keeping season going and having something to go for.

Would Madsen be worth a shout or Piotr Pawlicki.

In the GP saturday, so no excuses not to line up for the Lions. -
Regulations would have to be Ironclad, i.e.: for genuine Injury not an out of form rider.

Premiership Grand Final 2nd Leg - Wolves Vs Swindon 4 Oct

Have to say how complimentary and dignified the Wolves fans have been, must be gut wrenching to miss out by a point after 30 hard fought races, both sides had heroes step up at certain times. Nathan Greaves has come on bundles this season, my pivotal moment is Nick Morris heat 13 pass. -
Ellis has a nice average which should go up, would like him back at Swindon.
-
I don't think it's such a bad idea to allow club assets to ride instead of a guest, but certain rules should be stipulated, ie: a max of say 3 named riders, to be nominated at start of season with their averages known, have to do minimum 4 meetings to be available for the play-off.

Takes two teams to make a great final, wolves fans can be proud and still have the KO cup, so best of luck. -
