  1. I wanted Swindon to win purely because most had us down to for the wooden spoon at the start and certain Individuals said we were top through luck, I will still congratulate Poole if they win the tie, but don't care to engage in all the sad bickering, still think wolves will retain their title whoever comes out on top in this tie.
  2. Yes he could, but Swindon would still be accused of cheating if it was a different rider coming in, the fact its Kyle has got everyone's hackles up, I was looking forward to tonight, but this stroke gets pulled by a team every year come play off time, tbh I couldn't care less who wins this now.
  3. Poor old Kyle is on a loser here, score well he upsets Poole, score crap he gets accused of being bought, i know at the end of the day he should Just go out and earn some dosh, but this episode is dodgy.
  4. Bit strung out at times, Michelsen looked like he wasn't fazed by conditions.
  5. BOGOF with Pavlic, that other fine servant to British speedway.
  6. Miedzinski is still up for grabs.....
  7. Would keep a shrink in employment for years
  8. Too close to call now with the turnaround of form for each side, if Bellego and BWD up their game then it will be close, say 47-43. A 8-10 point defeat would make the second leg harder and we could be in for a heat 30 decider.
  9. Shovlar is like the boy who cried wolf.
  10. I see all the schoolyard bickering is in full flow as usual, if you believe what the so called experts on here say, then Swindon only topped the table by luck,so Wolves must be odds on to retain their title. I believe that's the case.
  11. Those years at lakeside obviously help.
  12. Poole is the proverbial banana skin tie to any side now, Swindon have punched above their weight and the reserve issues will have a barring no doubt so unlike some folk I'm not counting my horses lol, purely for business I think we'll choose Poole anyway, although like you say Rosco could go for the Aces.
  13. True, although a couple of early season Injuries didn't help, glad we stuck by him, as the previous season told us he has bags of potential.
  14. Good Job Swindon took a punt on him then, will be a bargain to any team next season.
  15. Stopped going in 76 after we moved away from Swindon, but do remember the back straight was 10 deep by the bar lol, Saturday nights helped plus the local riders in the team.
  16. Starke is reserve from today, Poole are on a decent run of form now, after they've knuckled down and got the KK business out of their system, there are no easy ties, but we will deffo not choose wolves, never been a happy hunting ground.
  17. I started going again in 86/87 as I worked next door to Jimmy Nilsens mechanic who got me interested again, I preferred sats too, used to rush across the field and old A419 to car and head to club for snooker and a or 3 after the match, always finished about 9 then sometimes before, not like todays drawn out meetings and a programme of 20+ home meetings, pretty sure 1998 was start of thursdays. for my sins used to go to Oxford too.
  18. A very long time ago, 20 years or so.
  19. I thought Batch was just sacked and Holders ban was from the SCB not buster.
