Was just wondering if there is any up to date info on Gary after his horrific injuries? Has he now retired or will we see him on a bike again?

I wish folk would get off denhams back.....yes he made some bad decisions (I.e signing Tero as rustys replacement ranks one of the worste with me) but he has also done a lot of good work Workington speedway I.e got cookie & rich lawson involved, spent his hard earned cash on the track, team & stadium! He his human like the rest of us & I honestly think without him we would of had no speedway for the past 5 year! So from 1 grateful comets fan I like to say thanks to Keith & family for the past 5 years....

With Irving and a 3 point reserve we would win sweet fa.........far to long a tail

What I load of old cobblers.... Why let the paying public enter the stadium last night? Keith Denham had a big smile on his face when it was announced it was off last night? I wonder if that had anything to do with the poor crowd in the stadium? We all know they have called meetings of way to easy in the past I.e the Ipswich meeting last year when the sun was splitting the trees all day. Maybe if they had somebody doing the track who knew what they were doing then Workington speedway would be in a lot better position regarding rider happyness, attendances & rain offs!

Not sure why this has been called off? The track didn't look bad at all last night & sure if there was any damage they could get it sorted out in a FULL day? Like previous years the Workington promotion really do puzzle me with these rain offs?? I see nortside training track is running today without any problems, it really does make me wonder at times if mr denham & co actually want these meetings to go ahead before the cut off dates

Adam roynon now out for the season so looks like an extra guest will be required tonight..

It's worrying times for a lot of clubs not just the Scottish ones, would be a great shame if either didn't run next season, always enjoy my trips up to both clubs & have met some great friends up there over the years. I have my own fears about Workington for 2013, all doesn't seem happy in the camp & gates have been poor all year :-(

So now we know rusty has infact not retired from speedway I wonder where he'll end up next? Glasgow maybe?
